I love being outdoors
My name is Atika and I grew up with five cats and two wonderful dogs as a child. I currently do not have any pets but frequently visit my friends pets. If you are looking for a young, talented, enthusiastic professional with passion for animals, I am the right candidate. I also drive and have my own vehicle so getting around the lower mainland is not an issue. I am self employed, I run a small private event bartending company while I take acting workshops. Hoping to work as an actress one day in the near future. I feel like I get along with dogs really well and almost feel like they are my best friend once I've been introduced. I am a hike enthusiast so I love being outside and doing outdoorsy things and that's why I am also applying for this position because dogs love being out and who else would be a better buddy to be out with.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a house with a yard, although it's not fully fenced. I'm not far from dog parks, and I have my own car, so taking them places won't be a problem.
Ratings and reviews
Atika sent the best pictures of our two kitties while we were gone. We loved the daily updates. She is a great communicator and was awesome about coordinating the key pick up and drop off. We will definitely book with her again.
Atika dog sat 2 dogs for me. She was great, fed them and took them out for an adventure to the beach, and sent multiple pictures. Both were happy when I got home. I definitely recommend.
Atika was very friendly and good to work with. Would work with her again. She took care of my dog while i was away for a a few days for work and he came back in one piece.
Atika did a wonderful job with my dog. I don’t usually let her go with others but I was busy with work and she deserves the best. Atika went above and beyond and brought my little Slayer back happier then I’d seen her in a long time. I highly recommend Atika to walk or sit your dog. She’s amazing!!!
Atika is a person i have always known to love pets. Notably she loves even the most hard to love pets (in my opinion). Aggressive, misbehaved, calm, and well-adjusted alike, she will treat them like her own. Any pet would be in good hands with Atika!
Atika has an incredible way with animals—especially dogs and cats. She’s calm, patient, and truly understands each pet’s needs. Whether it’s walking, feeding, grooming, or just providing company, she always shows care and responsibility. I’ve seen anxious pets relax around her almost instantly. She’s trustworthy, compassionate, and genuinely loves what she does. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and loving pet care
