Animal Enthusiast
I was raised in a household with three dogs and eventually an ornery cat, so much so I felt like one of the pack at times. My mother raised and trained dogs from a young age, so I was taught how to provide the utmost care, respect and compassion to animals and treat them as one of the family. I have experience in animal grooming, dental care, medication administration, training, playing, and just plain having fun. I am currently pursuing a degree in wildlife sciences at OSU and hope you will work with my schedule’s flexibility as I pursue classes full-time. With accurate notice I have no issue dedicating a weekend to your fur babies. I love spending time with animals, and due to my background in scientific fieldwork, safety is always my #1 priority. After moving to Corvallis I leave two goofball dogs, Grizzly and Tig, and my elderly cat Hazel with my mom in Portland.

Safety, trust & environment
I am experienced with crating and dealing with nervous or reactive dogs. I am experienced with monitoring dogs in fenced areas while they play or do their business as well as picking up after them and monitoring their health by observing accidents or how they behave when doing routine tasks. If anything is remotely out of the ordinary I will let you know as soon as possible and will clearly communicate how I conduct the routine and how your pets are doing throughout our time together. I will never do something I feel uncomfortable with and this includes keeping the safety of myself and your pet behind and I have zero shame turning around on a walk and going straight home if a situation arises that makes myself or your pet vulnerable to an unsafe or strange situation. My pets cannot be traditionally walked due to anxiety so I am very experienced in finding other ways to exercise if your pet has similar nervousness or needs a shorter walk experience.

Schedule
As a full-time student at OSU, I have classes Monday thru Friday, and though I am unopposed to weekday commitments, weekends are when I am most free. My schedule is as follows: Monday: 7pm-9pm free Tuesday: 7pm-9pm free Wednesday: 1pm and beyond free Thursday: Unavailable Friday: 3pm and beyond free Saturday: Available Sunday: Available I am open to helping out on weekdays if I am not too swamped, and would do better with short term commitments, but weekends are wide open!

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs such as reactivity, anxiety, physical disabilities or certain rituals performed such as a command given before they can eat dinner or rest. Though I have experience with larger animals I am of course limited by my own size and strength so please keep this in mind before booking if you have any uncertainties about your pet’s behavior. I will not work with untrained aggressive animals who will put myself or others in unsafe situations.
