Hi there, I’m Athena! I’m originally from Arizona and moved to Bellevue in 2021 for my husband’s job in the Air Force. I have been walking dogs since 2019 and love creating a long-lasting bond and relationship with the dogs I walk. I’m currently taking on new clients for mid-day walks and drop-ins. I’d love to meet your dog that needs a little extra love, exercise, and potty breaks during the day! During a walk or drop in visit I like stimulate your dog both mentally and physically. We can play games like fetch or tug, I can hide treats around the yard or house for them to sniff for and find, or I can take them on a walk and let them sniff around the neighborhood to tire their brain out. Let me know what your dog loves to do! I have worked with dogs of all sizes—from 10lb dachshunds to 180lb mastiffs. I have experience with puppies and love doing mid-day visits with them during the work week to take them potty and give them an outlet for all their puppy energy.

Safety, trust & environment
To keep your pets safe I always double check to make sure that doors or gates are secure and your dog’s leash/collar/harness are on properly. Your dog’s safety is my utmost priority! I always carry a pet corrector and extra slip lead while on walks in case we encounter and loose dogs. My goal is to never let any unknown dogs come into contact with your dogs.

Athena was great! She did a couple drops in visits for our boy Diesel. He doesn't normally play with toys but she made sure to keep him entertained the whole time by coming up with some fun treat interactive games! Would definitely recommend Athena to others looking for animal care! :)
My dog lando is not the friendliest guy, but Athena has been able to get him to warm up to her immediately. Great to have someone to be able to get him out for exercise throughout the day.
Athena is wonderful! We’ve had a hard time getting our high-energy dog enough exercise since having a baby and going back to work, and Athena saved the day. She’s prompt, communicative, and great with our dog’s reactivity. We highly recommend, and will rebook!

Schedule
I’m passionate about dog training so I’m more than willing to keep up any training you do during my visits such as loose leash walking, not jumping when saying hello, waiting to be let out of doors, etc.
