I am currently running my pet sitting business Full Time! I can provide services for your pet with a flexible schedule giving them love and care with full attention. Let me know if you would like to book every once in awhile while you are out of town or if you would like to book me to walk them regularly each week. I have my core clients that I regularly take care of weekly and monthly and I would love to welcome more clients if we are a good fit and our schedules align.

Safety and communication are top priorities of mine besides making sure that your pet is happy and comfortable(: I will always keep your dog on a leash, careful with opening and closing doors, and I am cautious with other dogs passing by while out on walks. I will provide you a detailed report card each visit with plenty of photos so that you can feel at ease knowing your baby is safe and having a good time!

While booking a service with your pet I would like to know: 1) If your pet has any special needs and/or accommodations, I am happy to provide care for pets of all needs. 2) If they are calm or energetic or a mix of both. 3) How they will react when I would arrive through the door. (If they tend to growl/bark, jump, or remain calm when they see me entering your house) 4) If they tend to get distracted on walks (reacting to other dogs/tugging to chase a bird or squirrel) 5) Please let me know if your pet has a tendency to take off or try to get out of their collar/harness if they get scared. I love going on walks with the dogs that I watch on nearby trails as well as field trips to the park/dog park! I will always ask first to make sure that you will be okay with where I can take your pups.

Hello! My name is Athena and I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I am reliable, experienced, caring, on-time, and a trustworthy individual who genuinely loves and cares for dogs, cats, hamsters, and animals of all sizes. I am a dog mama to my 5 happy and friendly pups. Chopper and Cece are both registered ESA animals. Besides my own pet sitting business, I have work experience caring for packs of dogs as I have worked at dog daycare facilities Camp Run-A-Mutt and Dogtopia in San Diego. I am trained in handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY: I am certified and trained in Pet CPR and First Aid through an in-person course with AmeriMed. It was very important for me to take this course in case of an emergency were to occur I know exactly how to help your pet quickly without any hesitation. In this course I learned how to: • Assess pets for a medical emergency. • How to treat common medical emergencies. • Perform CPR on cats and dogs. • Safe handling, restraint and transportation of sick and/or injured pets. I respond fast when you send in a booking request. Pets are apart of our families and I will insure you that your pet will be in good hands during our booking providing you photos of your happy pups and cats. I care for your pets as if they were my own making sure that they are comfortable and have everything that they need during our visit.

Athena is such a sweet caretaker!! She really cares about my adorable dog, Charu. Charu is 11 years old and is getting up there in age and Athena really caters to all of Charu’s needs as an older dog. You can really tell Athena loves her job and does everything with a happy and enthusiastic mood. I definitely recommend her for all your dogs but especially elderly dogs like my little Charu!!
Athena was fantastic! Super reliable, communicative and thorough. My wife and I felt very comfortable leaving Patches in Athena’s supervision!
Athena is such a sweet person. If you are in San Marcos or nearby book with her your pets will LOVE her. I love seeing the photos of my happy pup and she is able to walk a great distance with her. Evee comes back very well exercised and happy!
