Loving Your Pets Like My Own
I've taken care of pups and kitties throughout my life so being a pet sitter is second nature and a dream come true! I have experience with senior pets, administering medications, fostering and rescuing, and training in pet CPR. As a volunteer dog walker at the Oregon Dog Rescue, I walked and provided social interaction for dogs with a variety of personalities and backgrounds. At Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, I fed, refreshed bedding and litter, and provided social interaction for cats in the Cat House, as a part of a week-long volunteer trip. As a pet sitter, I’ve cared for dogs and kitties with a variety of experiences, comfort levels, and challenges. There's nothing more rewarding than that moment when the shy pet you’re caring for decides to trust you! My goal is to provide the same routine and care your pet experiences when you’re home so that they feel happy and secure. I provide exercise as well as fun games and puzzles to stimulate them physically, mentally, and emotionally. I’ll keep you updated by sending you a detailed message with photos at the end of every stay.

If I could add more than 5 stars I would. Athena goes way beyond in her care of our kitty. She gives us so many comments and photos, we feel so comfortable leaving our cat in her care, she medicates her as well. We highly recommend Athena!! Thank you Athena!
5 stars is not enough for Athena! We will not use anyone else for our kitty care while traveling, because we are completely spoiled...both us and our beloved Russell. There's simply no price you can put on feeling reassured about your pet's love and care while you're gone. And no guilt! lol Athena truly has a connection with animals second to none! We can't recommend her enough. Thank you for choosing this profession.

Schedule
My schedule is flexible so I offer pet drop-ins and dog walking services every day, from 9 AM to 7 PM. I can be reached during those hours or, for emergencies, 24/7.
