What makes me different is the combination of hands-on experience, attention to detail, and genuine care I bring to every pet I meet. I’ve worked in a doggy daycare setting, which gave me the opportunity to care for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to seniors who need a gentler touch and extra patience. I’m comfortable with special routines, administering basic medications, and supporting dogs with unique needs. I also understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort zone. Some thrive with long walks and active play, while others just want a calm companion to keep them company. I make it my priority to meet each pet where they’re at, so they feel safe, cared for, and happy while you’re away. Along with walks and drop-ins, I also offer overnight care and can provide bathing or nail care upon request. My goal is to make life easier for both you and your pets by being reliable, communicative, and treating your pets like they’re part of my own family.

Athena is the best! I have two older dogs (9-12 years old) and this was the first time I hired a dog sitter that wasn’t a friend or family member. I was nervous about how it would go but Athena truly went above and beyond. She made sure my girls were comfy, calm, and entertained. She also sent me photo updates which eased my anxiety, and she was a great communicator about any concerns that came up regarding the house and the dogs. She also left the house super clean which was so nice to come home to after a long trip. I’m very grateful and will be going to Athena again in the future.
I only worked with Athena for two weeks to house sit for my dog, Ellie. During this time, I had to make the decision to put Ellie down due to health and behavioral reasons. Athena made this process so much more manageable and comfortable for both myself, and Ellie. She provided tips for making Ellie more comfortable while she was alone, helped me find a way to help Ellie eat more consistently, and took her on daily walks and playtime. Athena even created imprints of my dogs paws and nose to remember her after she passed. I couldn't have asked for a more empathetic and loving dog sitter who Ellie immediately latched onto and looked forward to seeing everyday despite it being such a short time.
