A home away from home for your best friend.
We are licensed to care for your best friend with Flintshire County Council. Both Josh and I grew up surrounded by dogs, josh was gifted his own Labrador puppy at the age of 11, Pimms, who was his sidekick from day one. This is how we knew we had to get a Labrador when the day came to get our own dog. We will love your dog like our own and make sure that you can enjoy your time away without having to worry about your furry friend! We only take one boarder on at a time for a personal experience.

First time leaving Elma with a pet sitter. Athena and Josh couldn’t have made us feel any better about it! We received constant updates and pictures. Another wonderful stay for Daisy. Daisy is quite an anxious little girly but with each visit she settles a lot better. Josh and Athena provide such a calm environment and have the loveliest Dog to keep your furry friend company. Daisy has really warmed to Nala. Thank you for great stay.

Lily was so well looked after by Athena and Josh, she had a brilliant time. Schedule
My partner Josh and I are huge dog lovers! We decided to get our very own fur-baby, Nala in lockdown to keep me company whilst Josh worked in the office all day! Our jobs have now changed so I am on a hybrid work scheme and Josh is at home all days in the week. We love taking Nala out and we would make sure your best friend gets at least 2 walks a day!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fairly large enclosed back garden with a bolted gate, we have a large area of grass which is great for when we do outdoor treat training games! We would have Nala (our dog) sleeping upstairs with us and your dog would be able to sleep in our downstairs kitchen area which is large and comfortable ( we have lots of blankets!). If your dog is used to sleeping with you, we will make sure that we incorporate this. We really enjoy our walks and there are lots of lovely nature reserves, enclosed fields and woods nearby so you can make sure they will have a great time away!
Pets
A typical day
As we work office jobs from home, we love to take Nala out for an hours walk before the working day starts, this is as much for her as for us and she loves to run off the energy she has gathered over night! At lunch time I like to work her mind so I will fill a Kong or a puzzle, to keep her brain active! The end of the day we end with another hours walk and we would love to bring your dog along too! The day ends with sofa snuggles watching a film! And maybe a little treat when we have our dinner.
