I have enjoyed taking care of animals since I was a child. I have experience in looking after various pets, ranging from small rodents to large dogs like Great Danes or Bull Mastiffs, as well as everything in between. My expertise lies in caring for cats and dogs of all ages, from tiny puppies or kittens to elderly dogs or cats. I recently lost a 15-year-old pup earlier this year, so I understand the needs of older dogs.

Athena was amazing with my pup while I was out of the country. Even though I didn’t have service she sent lots of pictures and videos so that when I could log on I got to see how well he was doing. She was very mindful and knowledgable about dogs that might have “issues” with anxiety, high energy levels, or anything else that may require special care. I am so happy I found her to watch him because I had peace of mind that he was in great hands while I was unreachable.

Schedule
As a retired individual and a full-time homemaker, I am available on weekdays and weekends. Our household typically starts the day at 6-6:30 AM and finishes activities around 9-10 PM. We spend most of the day at home but occasionally go to the park or run errands in the mornings. However, we are willing to adjust our schedule to meet the needs of your pet's care.

We have a large fenced-in backyard with plenty of room for running, sunbathing, and shady trees to relax under. There are also ample opportunities for your pet to play with our pet and children. Our house is well-prepared for energetic animals and kids, with plenty of space and furniture for play and lounging. I have room separators/dividers in most, if not all, rooms if necessary, as well as a second floor where your pet can unwind away from my pet and family. If your pet requires crating, I have ample space to accommodate animals of any size. If you need anything not mentioned, please feel free to ask, as I'm confident we can make the necessary arrangements.

We have a very large fenced in backyard for pups to run free and explore. We also keep a large assortment of dog toys out for pups to play with.
