Our dog Rusty's first stay with Athanasia was wonderful! I'd highly recommend her to anyone. She was flexible, communicative, and professional - all that you could ask for in a pet sitter. And to illustrate that I'd like to highlight two things about our experience with her that stood out to me. First, when we first contacted her about boarding, she asked really good questions. That's always something that marks a good sitter in my experience. Knowing that she was actively thinking about our dog's care and doublechecking details that we didn't cover in our Rover profile really put me at ease even before we'd met her. And second, when we picked Rusty up, she had all of his stuff so well organized in the big blue Ikea bag that we pack full of his food, toys, and blankets. It might seem like something small, but it really made me see the care she takes with things. (I myself normally just jam stuff in the bag until it fits, haha.) That's the kind of thoughtful person that I like to leave Rusty with. Thanks again for the great stay, Athanasia! We hope to see you again soon.

Athanasia is an amazing find! I am a first time Rover user and was very nervous. Athanasia put both me and my dog Presley at ease at the meet and greet. We booked her and she dropped in on Presley three days on a row -- doing a great job! She is an excellent communicator and coaxed great smiles from him in home and outside on their walks. Athanasia clearly loves dogs and cares for her Rover pets well. I highly recommend Athanasia and will use her again and again!!

I follow any specific routines or guidelines provided by the owner to maintain consistency, whether it's feeding schedules, medication, or playtime preferences. My baby Dimitri is in the house as well and loves being around animals. We ask that your pet is child friendly 🙏 If caring for pets in their owner's home, I prioritize security and familiarity, ensuring that the pets remain in their known surroundings. I am diligent about respecting the owner's home, maintaining cleanliness, and providing regular updates to foster trust and peace of mind. Safety and the well-being of pets are my top priorities in every setting.
A typical day
As a pet sitter, I love keeping pets engaged with a mix of fun and stimulating activities tailored to their personalities! From playful fetch sessions and interactive toy games to leisurely walks in the park or cozy cuddle time, I ensure your pet stays happy and well-exercised. I also incorporate mental stimulation with puzzle toys or hide-and-seek games to keep their minds sharp while you're away.
