I grew up with both English setters and Great Danes at home. I have always enjoyed spending lots of time around dogs. A few years ago I got my old yellow lab named scout because I couldn’t live without having a dog. I would love to have another dog around the house, but am not quite ready for a second one of my own so would love to care for yours! I do have a cat who gets along great with dogs. Both my cat and scout would be with your dog as well. I work a typical 9-5 and love going on long afternoon walks in the park. We definitely recommend Astrid!! Our pup got along great with her dog Scout, we got plenty of update pictures of happy dogs, and our pup came home happy and tired after a weekend of staying with Astrid. I felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her and would do it again in a heartbeat!
Astrid is the ideal dog caregiver. She loves her own dog, Scout, more than herself and would extend the same affection to any dog she cares for. She has a great deal of experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities and backgrounds, making her very understanding of what different dogs may need on a daily basis. She is great at dog updates, sending photos and relaying the best dog stories of the day. Any dog would have a great time with Astrid and Scout and any dog parent should feel at ease having their pups stay with her.
Astrid is a great dog sitter! My dog is big and high-energy and she gave him lots of attention and exercise. He has anxiety so I prefer to have someone come and stay with him when I'm gone, and she did a great job keeping him happy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog sitter!
Astrid has been a dog owner from a young age-- she has cared for a variety of dogs, both in breed and personality, and she has cared for dogs with special needs (illness etc.) as well. She is a very compassionate dog owner herself, and would treat every animal with the same high level of respect and care that she treats her own. I couldn't recommend Astrid more highly as a pet caregiver!
