Since my transition from a software 9-5 to seasonal government work, I have pet sitting availability most days, including weekends and holidays. I keep my Rover calendar up to date and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. I build in flexibility for drop-in visits, medication schedules, and check-ins that need to happen at specific times, especially for senior or medical pets. Because I limit the number of bookings I take at once, I’m able to give each pet my full attention, follow care routines carefully, and communicate consistently with pet parents throughout the visit period.

I monitor cats closely for changes in appetite, litter box habits, energy, or behavior & provide timely updates if anything seems off. For senior pets or pets with medical needs, I use gentle handling and take the time needed to complete medications and daily care routines safely and comfortably. I maintain a clean environment for cats by refreshing water, scooping litter boxes, and keeping feeding areas tidy. My care is always pet-led, and I provide dependable updates and photos so pet parents feel informed and confident while they’re away.

We are so grateful for Astrid. So has taken incredible care of our best boi Winston. He is really needy, and just needs to cuddled and loved a lot. Like a whole lot. We were a little nervous about leaving him with someone, and were referred to Astrid by a close friend. She exceeded all expectations! She kept us updated on how he was doing while we were away. It was so nice and refreshing, as we were worried that he wouldn’t be engaged or played with. This was not the case with Astrid.
