One dog at a time, home,fenced yard
I have had dogs for most of my life and have trained them myself. I know my way around dogs and currently I have a Standard Poodle named Ampik (12 y.o.). She is well behaved, fun and friendly. She will make a great companion or a playmate to your dog. I work from home and wanted to extend my home to those dog owners who want their dog to be in a "home-like" environment while they are traveling. I only take one dog at a time, so your dog will only interact with my dog while in my house. You should consider me - if you have a hypoallergenic dog with their shots up to date, who is not aggressive and potty trained. I have a fully fenced back yard where the dogs can run around and I will be taking them on walks together with mine around the neighborhood or the park near by. I will have treats and toys for dogs, and all you need to bring is the bed and food for the dog. I'm flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. The idea to sign up for the Rover came from my own struggle finding a sitter for my dog while I am on a business trip. I was very lucky that my friends and family would take her in or stay at my house while I was gone, and I never needed a sitter. I understand the struggle and want to extend my home to those that are looking for a personalized care for their dogs, a safe and friendly home, and a home away from home environment while they are traveling for work or pleasure.

Above and Beyond! Astghik will always watch Duchess when we are out of town. Duchess got along beautifully with Ampik and they are best poodle friends! 🐩 I loved all the daily photos! I felt so comfortable and at peace knowing how well Duchess was being taken care of. 🤍

Schedule
I work from home and am at the house most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of attention from me. I also have a dog that has been well socialized and is friendly with other dog, so your dog will have a companion and a play mate while staying with us.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced back yard where your dog can run around or play fetch, or they can play with toys inside the house. There is plenty of space for them to feel comfortable. I don't require for dogs to be crate trained, but am happy to crate them if needed, just bring along the crate.

A typical day
Playing fetch or playing tag of war at the back yard, going on a long walk in the morning, taking short walks in the afternoon, multiple breaks throughout the day.
