Hi, I'm Asriel and I use they/them pronouns! Since 2016, I've gained lots of experience pet/housesitting. Over the years, I got the opportunity to work with different types of animals, from special needs pups to slithery sidekicks. In houses or on rabbit ranches. I am patient and very happy to make your furry friends feel special, whether I'm adding a sprinkle of cat food to your dogs dish with his breakfast or being careful to remember your kitty likes to be stroked on her left. I love rewarding star behavior and treating each animal I come in contact with like family. My rates are fair and I am very flexible with times in order to better be able to fit you and your pup's needs.

I start with a set routine like refilling food and water/emptying the litter box. Then move on to the fun parts like playing outside or going on a nice walk. I enjoy following specific instructions and keeping loose schedules.

Asriel was a phenomenal house and dog sitter during my recent week-long vacation. They took excellent care of my active, attention-hungry, young dog, Teddy. Before I left, they met with me to go over everything, and they were very attentive to Teddy's preferences, schedule, and emotional needs. They won Teddy over on the first day with a trip to Starbucks for a pup cup, and continued with stimulating and fun activities like playing in the backyard with the hose and snuggling on the sofa together. Asriel handled an unexpected problem (Teddy's upset stomach and diarrhea) calmly and confidently. They kept me updated with frequent photos and texts, and they left my house in pristine condition. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will definitely be a repeat customer!
Elvis had such a great time with Aanya! I received updates and cute pictures/videos of Elvis while I was away. Aanya was very attentive to his elderly needs, administered his medications, and took him on multiple walks throughout the day. I highly recommend Aayna and can’t wait for her to sit for Elvis again :)
My pup loves loves LOVES her walks — the longer, the faster pace, the better!!! Aanya has been a great caring, companion who has lovingly kept the pace with my pup … so much so that when my pup (who, by the way, is 11yrs old but has the energy and go-go-go of a 2-3yr old!) comes back from her walks… she’s all smiles, followed by a long restful nap. Totally fulfilled! Thank you for taking such good attentive care of the one soul who means more to me than anything in this world! 🤎
Aanya was an awesome sitter. She was attentive with both of my cats and went out of her way to spend as much time as possible knowing one of my cats suffers from separation anxiety. She also went above and beyond to make me custom mini canvases that my boys "painted". I would recommend her to anyone in the area looking for pet sitting services and will also be booking her again for future visits.
First time booking on Rover.com and working with Aanya, asked for two weeks of daily home visits for two cats. She was friendly, responsive and prompt, and the cats warmed up to her quickly! Consistent with registering her visits, so I was not worried about their care while away.

I'm a painter full time so my schedule is open and very flexible. Your special friend becomes my routine and I work my life around them.
