We are a self employed couple so our schedule is able to adapt to your pups needs. If we are gone during the day it is never more than 8 hours and we will adjust if your pup needs out more frequently.

We live on 7 acres, which makes for a large area for your pup to run around or just lay in the field to catch some sun! Although our property is not fully fenced, the gravel road we live on is not a busy road and our neighbors are far off so they will have a large area to roam. Our interior is fit for a doggy king or queen with a 12’ x 20’ heat floor mudroom and dog wash station (if we are away this is where your pup will stay). The rest of our home is on one level making it ideal for older pup who is not a fan of stairs. Your pup will be part of our family during their stay!

Because our yard is not fenced we do require the dogs we watch to be OK off leash in the large field area, this way the dog is comfortable to sniff and roam without worry. *Note, we always go outside with the dog and never leave them unsupervised. Recalling when called makes it for a more enjoyable experience for the doggies and for us.
A typical day
We like to take long field walks daily to let the pups enjoy some fresh air and sniff the fun new surroundings. We have frisbees and balls that make for lots of fun in the large area.

Pet care experience
We have cared for many pets over the years from cats to dogs and even bunnies. Both my husband and I have experience with administering medications including insulin shots and keeping both pups and kitties on a well balanced diet and exercise plan according to the time schedule they are used to. We have experience with elder pups as well, being able to help guide them on an easy walk around the yard for light exercise or lift them into a vehicle if needed. We make sure to adapt our home with additional rugs and doggie beds so that your furry family member can maneuver easier and find a comfy place to lie down when desired. Currently we do not have any animals in our home as our last dog received his angle wings. Our home has been a little too quiet and we are looking for an opportunity to care for your pet while we transition to our next phase or pet ownership.
