How they react to new people. I always come in slow and let them get to know me before we go out together. But knowing if a dog will be extra on guard or nervous when meeting is important.
A typical day
Long walks with lots of smelling breaks is a great way to get your dog both mental and physical exercise! I typically give a dog a 30min-1 hour walk when asked to walk them. Giving them plenty of time to enjoy it!

Appreciate Ashton's great communication throughout her time pet sitting. Having a meet and greet before hand made me feel a lot more comfortable since it was my first time leaving my cat alone. Got lots of pictures and a summary with each visit, which I loved. Would recommend and would love to rebook :)
Ashton took the absolute best care of our cat Phoebe while we were out of the country! I didn’t have to worry one bit. She did an amazing job updating me each day with lots of adorable pictures. I would absolutely recommend her and will choose her to watch our baby every time moving forward :)
Ashton is absolutely amazing. We booked her for the first time while we were gone for 2 1/2 weeks which made us a little nervous… Our kitty can be very anxious and requires daily meds, and we also asked Ashton to take care of some things around the house in addition to the cat. Ashton was very patient with all of my needy, pain-in-the-ass requests, and even went above and beyond what we asked. She gave very thorough daily check-ins, too, and we could tell that our fur baby was happy in her care. We are so pleased with her service and are so thankful for all of her help. We can’t recommend her enough!
Ashton is the best sitter we've had on Rover! She went above and beyond while watching our 3 kitties and house for 2 weeks. Ashton is communicative, reliable and a hard worker. I can't recommend her enough!
