Reliable Care While You’re Away
Hi! I’m Ashten, and I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets and provide them with a safe, comfortable, and positive experience while you are away. While this is my first time on Rover, I have several years of experience caring for dogs and cats for multiple families through paid pet sitting, as well as helping friends and family. I have provided overnight care in clients’ homes for trips lasting up to two weeks, along with multiple daily drop in visits. My goal has always been to keep pets comfortable, maintain their routines, and make sure they receive plenty of attention and care while their families are away. I have a master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, which has helped me develop strong observation skills, patience, and an understanding of individual needs. I bring that same attention to detail when caring for pets and learning their routines. I would love to learn more about your pet’s routine and what makes them happiest, whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or simply sticking to their normal schedule. I am happy to tailor my care to what helps them feel comfortable and secure. I am currently transitioning into a new career and looking to spend my time doing something I genuinely enjoy: caring for animals. I like to learn about your pet’s normal routine, personality, and preferences so I can provide care that feels familiar and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel safe and at home in their own environment. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, attention, feeding, medication if needed, and any other care that helps your pet feel comfortable and cared for.

Ashten has watched my dogs several times including on short notice when my regular sitter canceled. She is very responsive and follows instructions well. My dogs love her, even the one who is not generally a fan of people. I feel confident that Ashten will keep my babies safe and happy while I am away.
Ashten is amazing. I have an anxious/reactive, high energy rescue dog. Ashten took time to build trust, going at my dog’s pace. My dog now adores Ashten. Ashten has watched my dog (and two indoor cats) on 3 separate occasions. She followed all instructions I left to a tee for all three animals. She also sent photo, video and text updates throughout that time, which let us just relax and enjoy our vacation knowing they were being so well cared for. On top of that, she stayed at my house multiple nights while dog sitting and left my house exactly as she found it. Dishes washed, bed made, counters clean! Can’t recommend Ashten enough!!!
