I work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and sometimes holidays, so my availability varies from week to week. I plan my Rover bookings around my schedule to make sure each pet receives the time and attention they need. My boyfriend, Josh, and I also work as a team when caring for pets in our home, and he's usually available to help with feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship while I'm at work. Since I know my work schedule in advance, I'm always happy to discuss your pet's routine and make sure we're a good fit before booking.

Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I do my best to follow their normal routine and any instructions you provide. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family and have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and potty breaks. Josh and I supervise the pets in our care and make sure they have plenty of attention, playtime, and time to relax based on their individual needs. For drop-in visits and walks, I prioritize your pet's safety and comfort while respecting your home. I'll follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, and any other care they may need, while making sure your home is secure when I leave. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for your pets, so I value clear communication and am always happy to provide updates and photos while you're away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable and confident throughout their time in my care.

Before caring for your pet, I'd love to know about their normal routine, personality, and anything that will help them feel comfortable while you're away. This includes their feeding and potty schedule, favorite activities, sleeping habits, and how they typically behave when away from their family. Please let me know about any medical needs, medications, allergies, fears, triggers, or behavioral concerns I should be aware of. Since I have dogs of my own, it's also especially important for me to understand how your pet interacts with other dogs and whether they have any resource guarding or other behaviors that could affect their stay. The more I know about your pet ahead of time, the better Josh and I can make sure they're safe, comfortable, and feel right at home while they're with us!
A typical day
A typical day in our home is all about making sure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and part of the family. We have a fully fenced yard for potty breaks, outdoor play, and plenty of time to sniff and explore. Inside, pets are welcome to relax, play, or cuddle up with us depending on their personality and energy level. Josh and I work together to care for the pets staying with us, so we'll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and companionship throughout their stay. We do our best to follow each pet's normal feeding, potty, medication, and bedtime routines so their time away from home feels as familiar and stress-free as possible. Every pet is different, so we're happy to adjust activities based on what they enjoy most, whether that's playing in the backyard, going for a walk, playing with toys, or simply curling up on the couch for some extra love and attention. Our goal is to make their stay feel like a home away from home!

I've been caring for animals since I was 10 years old and currently have three rescue dogs of my own, ranging from two small dogs to my senior lab mix. Having dogs with different ages, personalities, and needs has given me plenty of firsthand experience providing individualized care and making sure each dog feels comfortable and safe. I have a special place in my heart for rescue dogs and understand that every dog comes with their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I'm patient with dogs who may need a little extra time to warm up, and I'm also comfortable caring for senior dogs and pets who need medication or a little extra attention. Whether your pet stays with me or I'm caring for them in their own home, I do my best to follow their normal routine and treat them just like I would want someone to treat my own dogs. My home also has a fenced yard for plenty of safe outdoor time. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable knowing your pet is being well cared for, loved, and treated like part of the family while you're away.
