I’m a certified veterinary assistant with a lifelong love for animals and hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. Throughout my life, I’ve had the opportunity to care for pets with different personalities, needs, and routines, which has taught me how important patience, compassion, and attention to detail are when caring for someone’s furry family members. I’m also Dog and Cat First Aid & CPR certified, giving me additional knowledge and skills to help keep pets safe and respond appropriately in an emergency. My veterinary assistant training has also given me additional knowledge and experience in animal care and well-being. I love ALL breeds and sizes! I plan to continue my education in veterinary medicine with the goal of becoming a veterinarian, so caring for animals is something I’m truly passionate about. I’ll treat every pet in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. Since all drop-in visits and boarding will take place in the client’s home, I’ll make sure to follow your pet’s normal routine and keep their environment calm, familiar, and comfortable. As a certified veterinary assistant, I understand the importance of paying attention to changes in behavior, following care instructions carefully, and providing a safe environment for every pet. I’ll treat your home and your pets with respect and care, keeping you updated throughout my time with them so you can feel confident that they’re happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

Ever since Ashlyn was a little girl her highest priority has been caring for animals. Whether that is pets of her own or animals with owners she may not even know Ashlyn’s priority is always the safety and well being of any animal. An example of this determination is her drive of helping stray dogs whenever she can, Ashlyn will see a dog that has lost their home and will transport them to the nearest shelter to scan their microchip and reunite the animal to their owner . Ashlyn’s care giving skills are beyond the call of duty and she has my highest recommendation.
Ashlyn has watched our dogs and cat several times over the years. I'm impressed with how much she plays with them, loves on them and makes sure that their needs are always met. I would definitely recommend her to others seeking the same attention for their pets.

Schedule
I am currently in school, so I am not available on Monday through Wednesday. Thursday through Sunday I am available for drop-in visits anytime and boarding in your home!
