I currently just work as a part time employee and part time student. I do get about a 1 to 2 hour break in-between shifts. I also am able to get up early in the mornings before heading to school and work. I don’t work Saturdays or Tuesdays, so those days I’m very flexible! I’m normally able to move my schedule around to try and be flexible, I just normally need 2 weeks in advance to fix that flexibility!

I currently live in an apartment, but I walk my two dogs on my off days about every 2 hours. When I’m working I just take my dogs with me to work so they have plenty of run around room! I also use treat puzzles or squeaky toys to keep them entertained and going! I always enjoy taking pets out for rides in the car, I always ask first before taking any dog anywhere that isn’t mine. My older dog can be a little snappy, so I don’t bring him around any of the dogs I dog sit. My younger dog is very playful however and loves everyone! Shes always looking for another playmate. However I do always ask first before I ever bring her to meet other dogs or pets! I also believe in a lot of love and cuddles!! 💚 I will always make sure your pets are comfortable and safe and feel loved! When caring for others people’s pets I always ask upfront questions about what is okay and what is not. Every dog and pet is different and have completely different personalities. I will adhere to their comfortability and personality!

Please let me know if your dog is allergic to anything or has any issues with other pets or people. If I am taking them on walks I want to be able to know how they react while on leash. So that I may avoid any bad situations. I also want to know about any medications or special needs your pet has. That way I can accommodate for them and know what to do to care for them properly.
A typical day
I do enjoy getting the pups pup cups every now and then. I also like to do treat puzzles. Or play with any toys they may have. I also like them to have plenty of rest times it’s important for any dog to get at least 15-20 hours of sleep. So nap breaks or cool downs are definitely a must for them. Also if I’m able to I like to give them run time off leash. Mostly this when there is a backyard available and they can free roam. I think this is a healthy way for them to get the zoomies out and to also get exercise if they are inside for a long time.

I’ve been pet sitting for my friends and family for about 2 years! I also have two dogs and have always been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve been working at a doggy daycare for almost 2 years now, so I have plenty experience in pet care!

Ashlyn did a great job! She was very attentive to Amy the pug, and Amy needs a lot of attention. Everything in the house was spotless when I returned, and I could tell Amy had a great time with Ashlyn. I would highly recommend her and will hire her again.
Ashlyn was amazing!! Super responsive, sent us pictures, left the house exactly as she found it, and our pups were happy as can be!
