Pet care experience
I grew up with my childhood dog from the ages of 10-25 and learned early on the responsibility and attention dogs need. Although I’m new on the Rover app, I’ve been a dog walker and sitter on the Wag app since 2017 and have completed more than 300 services. Dogs truly brighten my day!

We just recently got a puppy, so we were extremely grateful that Ashlyn was able to house and dog sit for us when we unexpectedly had to go out of town for a few days. She gave both dogs individual walks and lots of attention--which is no small chore with a rambunctious pop. She was also a great communicator, and her detailed daily updates made us feel at ease knowing they were in good hands. Thank you, Ashlyn!

A typical day
I’ll be sure to socialize with the pet so they understand I’m a friend. If toys are provided and I can utilize those. I can take the pet outside to use the potty and get some fresh air. After more play time, I’m more than happy to give plenty of pets and scratches to the furry friend.

I’m currently studying for a registration exam to become a Registered Dietitian! I have availability all day every day as I am trying to make a small source of income until I pass my exam and apply for jobs 🙂
