Availability
I currently work a full-time job Sunday through Thursday for about 8 hours a day, and I also pick up additional shifts on a flexible basis. That said, I’m still very available for pet care as long as you’re okay with visits being scheduled around my work hours. I’m more than happy to stop by before and after shifts to give your pets the love and attention they need!

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my first priority is to follow any instructions left by the owner to ensure consistency and comfort for the pets. If no specific routine is outlined, I start by letting the dogs outside for a potty break, then make sure everyone is fed, has fresh water, and is relaxed. If the owner requests walks, I’ll happily take the dogs out for some exercise, or let them back outside for more fresh air and movement. I always check litter boxes, clean up any messes, and give each pet some individual attention and playtime before I leave. My goal is to keep your pets feeling safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away, just like they would with you!
Information Ashlyn R. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if they are a diabetic, have special needs, or any neurological disorders as well as any past seizure history so I am able to keep tabs on those types of things while you are away!
A typical day
I would love to play with them wether it's outside in the back yard or inside. As long as the owners are ok with taking them on walks I would of course love to do so as long as the pet is feeling like they want to go as well!

Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Ashlyn, and I’m a recent Biology graduate who was planning for veterinary school. I’ve dedicated years to working with animals of all shapes and sizes—from grooming to veterinary clinics, and even a vocational school focused on animal care. Currently, I work as a ER veterinary assistant and have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, farm animals, horses, and small pocket pets. No matter the species, breed, or size. I’m comfortable and confident in providing loving, reliable care. Whether your pet needs cuddles, playtime, medication, or just a calming presence, I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family. I’m actively looking to build long-term relationships with new clients and would love to be your go-to sitter. Thank you so much for considering me! Feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m happy to chat and learn more about your pets.
Reviews

Ashlyn was super!!! I have 3 senior dogs and a cockatoo. The 2 little dogs are 16 and 18, the medium size dog is 11, cockatoo about 23 years old. The little dogs need a really good routine and support, Ashlyn came through with flying colors for them and the other 2. Everyone was happy healthy and clean, including the house upon my return!!! Ashlyn kept me updated and asked questions as needed, i feel she exhibited good judgment and a sincere dedication to the care of my pets. I have already recommended her to my friends with pets who travel, they will not be disappointed.THANK YOU ASHLYN!!! We will rebook!!!

Ashlyn watched our large breed, anxious dog who just recently had surgery for the evening so we were nervous, but she did a great job with him and was very professional. We hope we can continue to use her services in the future!

Ashlyn was amazing! She was super easy to work with and made us feel comfortable leaving our dogs. We will be using her for all our future vacations!

Ashlyn responded very promptly and her communication was excellent. She was on time for her walk through to meet Abbot and get the tour of our home and his routine. He asked relevant questions, even where to take him if there was an emergency. We felt very comfortable having her care for Abbot and our home, We will definitely use her again the next time we need someone to stay with our dog and refer to our friends.
