Formerly a digital nomad, I am now making my life in the Bay Area. I am taking classes and work locally with music and acting. Sometimes this work requires me to be away from the house for extended periods of 6 hrs or so. Sits for pets that are free feeding or flexible in their feeding schedules work best because of this!

I travel and stay in the animal’s home while the owners are traveling. Pet care is typically discussed beforehand with the owners so I can be familiar with the daily routines, habits, and unique characteristics of the pets/house! I ask that any indoor cameras be turned off or unplugged once you have confirmed my arrival. Message me about traveling to your area to sit for your pet! For house stays, please include photos and details of house interior and sleeping arrangements when sending your request. Being comfortable in my environment is important to me and this helps me determine if we are a good match.

I enjoy working with owners that can trust their animal is in good hands while they are away! If you or your animal need constant attention, I’m not the sitter for you! I typically update with photos or videos every 2 days or 3 days if the sit extends more than a week.

I have 6 years now of consecutive professional house/pet sitting experience. I am experienced with dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, chickens and horses. I have cared for diabetic animals requiring daily medication and many animals that need particular attentions and care.

Ashlyn was great to work with! She took care of our pup while we were out of town for a week. She sent photo and video updates, and gave our pup lots of extra love and exercise! She took great care of our home and left it in perfect condition. Great communication and overall great experience! Hope to book with Ashlyn again for our future pet sitting needs!
This was our first time using a house sitter and Ashlyn was great! The house was tidy upon arrival and we had one happy pup when we got home!
