On a typical weekday, my schedule is structured to ensure your dog feels like a seamless part of the family. I work a stable 7:30-4pm routine, so the day starts early with a morning walk and breakfast to get everyone settled before I head out. Because I have a well-equipped home—including a large indoor playpen and an indoor grass patch—your pup has a secure, comfortable environment to relax in while I’m at work. Once I’m home at 5:00 PM, my focus shifts entirely to companionship. We head out for our primary daily walk, followed by dinner and plenty of interactive play or grooming maintenance. My evenings and weekends are dedicated to quality time; whether we are relaxing together in the living room or sharing snuggles on the bed, your dog is never just "staying" here—they are living with us. My five-year-old daughter also joins in this routine, providing gentle company and ensuring your pet feels included in all our family activities.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, I provide a "family-style" environment where your dog is treated with the same devotion as a human member of the household. My care is centered on a predictable, loving routine: the day begins and ends with walks, and the evenings are reserved for high-quality companionship and bed snuggles. I’ve tailored my space for both comfort and practical needs, utilizing a large indoor playpen for dogs who appreciate their own "den" and an indoor grass patch for easy relief. My 5-year-old daughter is part of this daily rhythm, offering gentle affection while understanding how to respect a dog's space. Leveraging my background as a nurse, I provide a specialized level of attention for pets with medical needs. Whether in my home or yours, I am highly proficient in administering medications and monitoring health conditions, ensuring all medical protocols are followed with clinical precision. For those staying with me, I also offer "spa" maintenance—including baths and tidy-up trims for the face and paws—so they return home looking and feeling their best. Ultimately, my goal is to maintain your pet's specific routine as closely as possible to ensure they feel safe, pampered, and right at home.

Information Ashlyn G. would like to know about your pet
To ensure your pup has the safest and most comfortable stay possible, I find it helpful to know their specific medical history and behavioral nuances ahead of time. Given my background as a nurse, I am very comfortable managing health needs, so please share details regarding any medication schedules, chronic conditions, or mobility limitations, especially for senior dogs. Knowing their "bathroom cues" and how they feel about using an indoor grass patch versus waiting for outdoor walks helps me maintain their routine seamlessly. It is also important for me to understand their social boundaries and personality quirks. Since I have a young daughter who loves animals and respects their space, I like to know if your dog has a preferred way of being approached or if they have any specific "off-limits" zones. Additionally, please let me know about their grooming comfort level—such as any sensitivities around their paws or face—and their sleeping preferences, whether they prefer the security of a playpen, their own bed, or snuggling up with me at night.
A typical day
In our home, fun is all about balancing active movement with high-quality relaxation. Each day features a neighborhood walk where we can explore the sights and sounds of Idaho together, giving your pup plenty of mental stimulation and fresh air. I value "passive quality time," our evenings are often spent together in the living room for dedicated snuggle time. Whether we’re listening to music—like some Saint Motel—or just relaxing while my daughter and I work on our latest

Lifelong lover and expert snuggler
Pet care experience
I have shared my life with dogs of all breeds and sizes for as long as I can remember, and I truly view them as members of the family. As a Registered Nurse, I bring a professional level of care to my sitting, and I am exceptionally comfortable managing medications, specialized health conditions, and the unique needs of senior pups. My home is fully equipped for comfort and safety, featuring a large indoor playpen for dogs who need their own space, an indoor grass patch for convenience, and brand-new orthopedic bedding. While I work a standard 9-5 schedule, my evenings and weekends are dedicated to your pet—including daily walks and plenty of couch or bed snuggles. Your dog will be welcomed into a loving, calm environment alongside my five-year-old daughter, who is very gentle and well-trained in respecting a dog's personal boundaries. In addition to providing a high level of medical and emotional care, I offer basic grooming services to keep your pup feeling fresh. I am happy to provide full baths as well as maintenance trimming for faces, paws, and sanitary areas. Whether your dog is a high-energy breed or a senior in need of a quiet place to nap, they will be treated with the same devotion and heart that I give my own "dog babies".
