Pet care experience

Trusted Care for Pets & Livestock

Hi! I'm Ashlyn, a professional dog groomer with over 8 years of hands-on experience and a lifetime of caring for animals. I specialize in dogs and cats with medicals needs, seniors, anxiety, and special routines. I'm experienced with oral and injectable medications, mobility limitations, behavioral sensitivities, and pets who need calm, consistent care. I currently work full-time in the pet industry and structure my schedule so your pets receive reliable morning and afternoon care, plus attentive evenings and overnight stays when house sitting. I treat every home with and pet with respect, transparency, and professionalism. You'll receive thoughtful updates, photos, and clear communication throughout your booking- because peace of mind matters just as much as good care. In addition to traditional pet care, I also accept farm and rural property sits that include livestock or mixed-animal households. My experience includes feeding schedules, stall cleaning, pasture rotation, and medication administration for horses, cows, donkeys, goats, pigs, and alpacas, as well as care for poultry and fowl including chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, and peafowl. Farm and livestock care requests are evaluated individually based on the number of animals, property size, and care requirements. Please message me with details so I can provide and accurate quote.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I am experienced in caring for pets with a wide range of medical behavioral needs, including seniors and pets with chronic conditions. My background includes hands-on care for animals with arthritis, mobility limitations, vision or hearing impairments, diabetes, Cushing's Disease, seizure disorders, cardiac conditions, GI issues, and post-surgical needs. I follow care instructions closely, administer medications as directed, and monitor pets for any changes in behavior or health while in my care. I strive to maintain a calm, low-stress environment and respect each pet's individual boundaries, routines, and comfort levels. Clear communication and transparency are important to me-I ask detailed questions ahead of time so I can provide safe, consistent, and reliable care in your home. Pets with complex medical or behavioral needs are welcome, provided all care details are fully disclosed prior to booking.

Amazing!! Our dogs were so loved and well cared for during a full 10 day trip. We came home to very happy dogs (that I think probably miss Ashlyn.) She also went above and beyond taking care of our home too.

Ashlyn was willing to watch our cat on short notice after we had to unexpectedly leave town, and we are so grateful! We recently moved to the area so we were especially worried about leaving our girl. Fortunately, Ashlyn was very communicative, sending daily photos and updates, which helped ease our stress. Our cat is typically shy and can take a few days to warm up to new people, but she seemed comfortable within a day of Ashlyn watching her. We are again so appreciative of her and will definitely be asking her to watch our girl again in the future!

Ashlyn was by far one of the best sitters we’ve had! She was very responsive and genuinely cared for both our animals. I always get anxious leaving Ivy & Eve, but she provided many updates/pictures which helped tremendously. Not to mention, she went above and beyond by cleaning up our apartment which was unexpected and very appreciated. Already planning to book with her again. Highly recommend!!

Ashlyn is always wonderful!! She communicates well, loves on the babies, and leaves the house cleaner than she found it.

Ashlyn was SO amazing to work with! It was my first time working with Rover and she helped explain the process and make me feel comfortable. The dogs absolutely love her and she was fantastic at communicating and sending pictures along the way. Thank you so much Ashlyn, I’ll definitely be rebooking in the future!

I kindly request essential information regarding the health conditions of your pet, including heart diseases/worms, seizures/epilepsy, allergies, or arthritis. If your pet is pregnant or nursing, it is important to inform me. Additionally, please let me know if any vaccinations are overdue, if your pet has been treated for fleas/ticks/worms, or if there has been any unprovoked aggression towards other animals or people. Behavioral issues such as separation anxiety, chewing on household items, housebreaking problems, habitual barking, or being easily overexcited should also be disclosed. For the safety of both myself and the pet, any dogs weighing over 75lbs should be trained or well-behaved on a leash to avoid potential injuries. It is essential to mention that I maintain no biases towards any particular breed as each dog is unique in its own way. Farm and livestock care has a nightly minimum and is priced based on scope of care. Detailed information is required prior to booking.
