My family has always owned cats and dogs and I grew up helping to take care of all of them so I have a huge affinity for animals. I have two cats of my own, so I am happy to offer house sitting and day care in your home. I know how important it is to gain the trust of your animal in order for them to feel stress free while you are away. I take pride in being able to provide comfort and security for your cat or dog during my time with them. I know the kitties can't resist a face scratch or two but also understand how they may just want to hide and have some alone time for a little. I am familiar with feeding, litter cleanings, play time, walks, bathroom breaks, administering oral meds and making sure all their needs are met. For both dogs and cats, I understand the importance of playtime and enrichment in order to keep them out of trouble. I also have experience in watching puppies and kittens whether it be on Rover or with my family members. If you have questions regarding sitting for your young animal please feel free to reach out.

Whether I am house sitting or just stopping in to check on your pet, I understand the importance of gaining their trust in order to make them feel at ease while you are away, especially when it comes to cats and new people. I am very attentive and can usually tell if a pet is shy, scared, or acting different than normal in the beginning. My goal is to ensure your pet feels as comfortable as possible no matter how long it may take for them to warm up. I will also be sure to send you lots of pictures and updates on how they are doing.

Ashly is the best!!! She has sat for our dog Rosie several times and does an amazing job. She sends lots of wonderful updates and pictures. She’s also super flexible and has saved us several times!! Most recently she was able to stay an extra day when our flight was cancelled, and even stayed with Rosie through an ice storm. We are so grateful for Ashly!!

Ashly was wonderful! Our dog Rosie unexpectedly went into her first heat right before our trip, so we had to make last minute arrangements for her. Ashly saved us and took great care of Rosie. She was caring and trustworthy and sent lots of pictures and updates. Rosie had to wear diapers and had to take bathroom breaks during the night, and Ashly was so patient and kind. She also took great care of our house while we were away. We definitely want to have her sit for Rosie again soon!!
Ashly is the best! This was the second time she watched my dogs and I will continue to book her as long as she is available. She communicates well, takes great care of my dogs (and any specific care instructions), and leaves the apartment better than when she came. I would highly suggest her to anyone looking for pet care!
Ashly was great! She was very communicative and sent great photo updates - I felt totally comfortable leaving my two dogs in her care. I'll definitely be using her services again!

Schedule
I currently work from home and can care for your cat or dog during the week/ work day if needed. I usually start my day with a walk and would be able to bring your dog along for those. After my walk, I spend my days at home working and would love for your pet to keep me company. I know some cats are very intrigued by laptops and would be happy to provide that enrichment for them haha (my cats are at least). My schedule is flexible which allows me to be attentive and provide care when needed. Feedings, litter changes, bathroom breaks, etc. And there is always time for cuddles and play.
