***While currently living in Laurel, MS I am available for all pet services here . I didn’t see a way to put availability for both local and away services?? I listed only pet-sitting bc i have friends and family in 30A Florida panhandle, Birmingham, Al, TN , DC area , TN and others so please reach out if you need a sitter or you have family or friends in other areas looking for a trusted and responsible sitter who is gifted in both pet care and home care…please see below for details. Whether local or in other cities/states …that will be my only responsibility …..I schedule my personal responsibilities around the requirements of your job .

Please give me as much information about your pets and you can never be too detailed. Does your pet have things that he is uncomfortable with, does she like her independence more or lots of affection? Any ailments or concerns….and I’m certain you will give me the obvious feeding/bathroom/walks etc info!!
A typical day
While I appreciate detailed instructions for each pet as well as a good understanding of the routines you’d like me to continue while I’m there, I believe in following the lead of your pets, in a sense, initially. While I enjoy everything from petting and loving to playing with animals, walking, or going for a run…it’s whatever your pets are wanting and needing. That’s something that’s obviously different with each assignment. I can be as chill and quiet and reserved to active and interacting together as much as possible…I want them to be happy and comfortable.

I’ve loved pets since I was a child and animals have generally always taken to me pretty quickly. I’m an empath and have intuition with animals just as with people. I understand animals need a paced yet sensitive approach when first meeting. I feel this is the best predictor for having a sit go well. I also enjoy the art of maintaining a peaceful home and will do all I can to leave your home in the same or better state than when I arrived. I am most experienced with cats and dogs but am open to caring for other kinds !!!

We highly recommend ASHLEY for any of your pet care needs. Our dogs, Mia and Bella are like our children, and we are very particular about who we allow to care for them. Ashley cares for our dogs as if they were her own. She is extremely dedicated, professional and responsible when sitting with our dogs. Ashley gives us an update on how they did and pictures or video of them during her stay. We can travel now and have confidence knowing they are loved and in such good hands while we’re gone. Ashley came to our home the day before our departure and took the time to understand our home, functions and animals. Throughout the week she sent updates with videos and pictures. She communicated well and made us feel at ease being gone for over week out of the country. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Her care and care of attention is a great quality in not only a person but a caregiver.
Ashley went above and beyond in taking care on my beloved furry family members. I was worried about them while I was gone but she made sure they felt loved. Not only feeding my animals, but taking them on walks, giving lots of pets, and spending that extra bit of time with them has made me decide to keep Ashley on for as long as possible for when I need someone to take care of my animals. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone and everyone.
