Since my husband and I had our own tiny human back in February, I am a stay at home parent; both regular and pet I guess. I spend most days teaching our kiddo “pet the puppy” and our youngest dog “please don’t lick him DIRECTLY in the mouth…” so it’s a fun balance, but other than that my schedule is pretty wide open

For now I will only be doing drop-in visits at the client’s home, until our child is older and can be taught proper safety and respect towards animals. Right now he’s under a year and doesn’t know anything except “pet the puppy” with his own dogs, so we’d like to let him get older and better acquainted before we keep other dogs here.

Information Ashley W. would like to know about your pet
I know this is not possible in all cases, but I would like your dog(s) to meet mine before they are thrust together, so we may see how they act together first. Dog friendly certainly preferred!
A typical day
Walks, backyard races, tug of war, and lots of belly rubs. Our three have lots of energy so they love to play with new friends!

Pet care experience
Just a girl trying to be the person my dogs think I am! Mom to three wonderful crazy fur balls that occasionally hog the bed, and now one tiny human. I love all animals, but let’s be honest, dogs are clearly the best species to walk this earth! I’ve had pets all my life, currently two shepherds and husky, as well as countless fish. We moved to Maryland from Florida a couple years back, so it’s been a big change for us! Still getting used to everything up here, and so are our four legged kiddos. Since moving here, we also now have lots of chickens and ducks. They’re all safe in our backyard in their own home, and we adore them. I’ve cared for a variety of animals (human toddlers included) over the years and I can’t get enough of them. We always said we’d have our own mini farm one day, and we’re getting closer every day!

Ashley is a great pet sitter! She is dependable, easy to work with, and took great car of our fur babies.
Ashley accommodated my need for an early morning drop off and my guess-timate time of arrival from my trip. It was such a relief for me! Her home was nearby, plenty of space for the dogs and well kept. Throughout the weekend she sent me several updates and pictures. My dogs were beat from all the playing and fun! I highly recommend Ashley and will use her again! Thanks lady! ;)
Ashley was a dream come true for both us and our dogs. It was so nice that she had dogs around our dogs ages, and sizes especially our puppy who made great friends with her puppy She also sent daily reports along with Adorable pictures and wasn't afraid to report anything negative which we appreciate. We're really hoping she continues to dog sit around here in the future.
I absolutely love having Ashley as my dog sitter. I have to travel for work often and Ashley is ALWAYS available and more than willing to watch my pup. She keeps me updated on how he’s doing even when I’m not expecting it.
