🐾 Hi, I’m Ashley, founder of Pawsitive Pup Vibes. I’ve cared for animals professionally for more than 20 years, working in AZA-accredited zoos, museums, veterinary clinics, and dog boarding and daycare facilities. My background includes caring for both domestic and exotic animals, supporting daily husbandry and enrichment, monitoring behavior and welfare, and maintaining high standards for safety, cleanliness, and individualized care. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, temperaments, and most breeds. I’m experienced with disabilities such as blindness or diabetes and comfortable administering oral and subcutaneous medications. I’m a dog trainer with formal education in both force-free and balanced training. My behavior modification work focuses on reactivity, fear, and aggression, with an emphasis on canine communication, body language, calming signals, structured play, and thoughtful socialization. 🏡 Boarding is available for dogs weighing 45 pounds or less, with a maximum of three guest dogs at a time. Our home is a cozy alternative to a kennel, with a fully fenced yard and daily hikes or walks included. Dogs should be comfortable around other dogs and able to read social cues. We also have contained chickens on the property, so visiting dogs should have a reliable “leave it.” **Can train if needed! 🐶 Pack hikes offer 60–90 minutes of off leash adventure, exercise, structured play, and socialization, with trail manners and training built in to help keep every dog safe and focused. My husband, Luke, helps with the business. At home, we share life with reptiles, chickens, and our two very spoiled cattle dogs, Kora (11) and Eva (8).
