Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile! I have over 10 years of experience working as an animal caregiver for private clients in both equine facilities and the animal care industry, which have provided me with extensive knowledge concerning animal welfare. Over the last five years, my husband Zachary has joined my one-person team. We have cared for a wide variety of animals ranging from newborns to seniors, handicapped to high energy, anxious to aggressive, and everything in between. Since we don't have a furry family member of our own, we've continued working as animal caregivers so we can continue to spend time with animals whilst pursuing our personal fine art. My husband Zachary and I are fine art photographers that live and work in the Bellevue and La Conner areas. We live very conscious, sustainable, and frugal lives, and care very deeply about the natural world. We enjoy spending much of our time experiencing nature (especially with our animal friends!), as well as pursuing holistic wellness and organic cooking. Whether hiking in the mountains or taking a city stroll, we love getting outside with pups (or any animal) of all backgrounds and energy levels. Our services are priced as listed, and include but are not limited to, - Direct 24/7 communication with me via my personal phone number. - Daily photo and/or video updates with a recap from our day, typically sent in the evenings. - All responsibilities of animal care such as grooming, feeding, stimulus, exercise, veterinary visits, administering medications, etc. - If there are any undesirable behaviors we will work to discourage the behavior with positive reinforcement training, at no additional cost. - Can administer oral and injectable medication, and perform first aid & cpr. - In addition to animal care, we will keep up with regular home maintenance such as watering plants, bringing in mail, taking out the trash, a light cleaning before your arrival home, etc. - For additional fees, we can fulfill general errand requests by clients (by request only & flat rate). The majority of our clients hire us for in-home pet sitting. Presently, we have one open spot left available for recurring clients. If you are not looking to become a regular client, we do also accept one-time bookings that align with our calendar. Additionally as of 2022—whether you're a repeat client or this is your first time contacting us—in the event Zachary and I are unavailable to watch your beloved animal companions while you're away, we can refer our backup partner/sitter Treaneva who is a part of our team and is equally qualified. Ashley and Zachary are absolutely wonderful. Our pup had to have multiple teeth removed a few days ahead of our trip and I was so nervous about leaving him and also tasking his sitters with giving him medicine multiple times a day. Ashley and Zachary were an absolute dream in this scenario. They took such good care of Fox and and gave him all the care and cuddles that he needed (we gleaned this from the wonderful updates and pics they shared with us regularly). They will be our first call from here on when we need care for our precious pup and our home too.
Went beyond my expectations—complete professionals. It was so easy to truly relax knowing that our home and pup were in such good hands.
Ashley and Zachary were by far THE best pet sitters we have ever had. We travel a fair bit and have had what feels like one million different pet sitters watch our fur babies. None of them even come close to comparing to Ashley and Zachary. From our meet and greet, they were incredibly professional and prompt. We had a good feeling from the start. They went above and beyond with their daily updates on our boys and we always looked forward to seeing their pictures. While we were away there was a big snowstorm and cold snap and Ashley and Zachary dealt with it like champs. They shoveled our driveway, kept the house warm and cozy and continued to walk our Newfoundland in the freezing cold. We will continue to book them again and again when we travel. I truly cannot imagine having another pet sitter after them. They left the house cleaner than we left it and even sent us professional photos of our beloved pets. If I could give them 10 stars I would. They truly are THE best!!!
Ashley was very careful and thorough during her stay with Pinko who just had the surgery, and Pinko really enjoyed every moment with her! And Ashley was very responsive when we asked about how Pinko was doing throughout the day, which really made things much easier for us. Thank you Ashley ☺️
Ashley & Zachary did an amazing job! Without reservation, I would recommend them to house sit and care for your pets. Our cat is easy but our dog is a rescue, has a history of abuse/neglect and is a challenge. Ashley & Zachary took the time to meet our pets and make them feel comfortable before staying in our home. They have knowledge of how to deal with challenging behaviors and were successful in caring for our pets. They had good communication with us and were willing to go above and beyond to make our vacation and our pet's experience a positive one.
This was our first time using Rover.com, needing to find someone to watch our pups for 10 days. The first profile we read was Ashley's and reached out to her. Immediately she responded, and was interested in meeting us. It was important to find someone to take good care of our dogs as well as finding someone you could trust staying at your home. Ashley and Zach came to the house, met our exuberant dogs and they didn't run away! They were excited in helping us out! We received daily updates & photos, putting us at ease knowing all was well at home. I would highly recommend Ashley and Zach! As long as they want to continue to watch our pups, they are our only choice!
