Before we get started, I like to know as much as possible about your pet so I can give them the best care and keep their routine stress-free. Helpful things to share ahead of time include feeding schedules and portions, medications or health concerns, mobility or senior needs, and any behavioral quirks like leash reactivity, anxiety triggers, or hiding spots. I also appreciate knowing what your pet loves and what they don’t. Favorite toys, walking preferences, play style, treat rules, and comfort habits all make a big difference. For cats, things like hiding places and how social or hands-off they prefer to be are especially important. The more I know upfront, the more confidently and calmly I can care for your pet in a way that feels familiar and safe to them.
A typical day
A typical day with me is built around your pet’s routine, with plenty of attention and a focus on their normal structure. Feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or litter checks, and a little check-in cuddle time. For dogs, that often includes a walk paced to their age and energy level. For cats, it’s playtime, enrichment, or simply companionable hanging out if that’s more their speed.
