Your Pup’s Favorite Substitute
I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. I am a professor with a flexible schedule and work from home most days, so I can provide steady attention and companionship for your pet. I have a spacious, fenced yard and live near a park where we enjoy walking. Your pet will have plenty of safe space to play, explore, and feel at home. I truly miss the energy of dogs in my home, and I would love to care for yours! I only take one dog at a time unless they come together (max 2 dogs), so your pet gets individual care and attention. I require a meet-and-greet before booking to ensure it's a great match for everyone involved. It's important that the dogs are non-aggressive and friendly, especially around my animal-loving 6-year-old daughter, who is with me half the time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced yard and a park just steps from my home, so your pet can get lots of exercise. I prefer to board one dog at a time so each pup gets plenty of attention and care. I may make exceptions for two dogs if they’re from the same family and are comfortable together.
A typical day
A typical day here is a balance of outdoor adventure and ease, with time in the yard sniffing flowers, lounging under the big shady tree, or walking to the nearby park for fresh air and exploration. Then we settle in for relaxed indoor time while I grade papers, with a happy pup close by. There’s always room for play, sunshine, and of course, plenty of couch snuggles.
