After 12 years as a veterinary technician, I have made the switch into full-time boarding from our personal property! We've grown into a separate building behind our house. Of course, it is completely decked out for our canine friends. We require dhpp, rabies & bordetella vaccines. Our drop-off/pick-up hours are Mon-Fri: 7-1130 am; 130-6p Satursay: 7-10 am, 5-6p Sunday: 9-10 am, 5-6p Afternoon pick-ups are an additional $25 for the first dog, $13 for the second. We have a securely fenced 6 ft privacy yard. Kennel spaces are 5x5 in size, appropriate for up to 2 large dogs from the same family, or 3 smaller. Feel free to ask about a multi-kennel family discount for our friends who have that need. We care for your kiddos with the same expectations as we would have for our own! I am Fear Free certified. In a clinic setting, this is used with a combination of high value reward, touch gradient & sometimes paired with anxiety medications. For boarding, we provide quiet places for pets to decompress, comfort items from home, and calming music to soothe. Our dogs are vaccinated against rabies, DAPP, leptospirosis & bordatella. They are kept on monthly preventative year round to keep fleas, ticks, and intestinal parasites away. Boarders are required to have a rabies, dhpp & bordetella vaccines. We sanitize daily with Rescue, it is a high strength, pet friendly cleaner. We do board for multiple families. We take into consideration friendliness of each pet and take all necessary precautions to keep everyone safe. Playtime with our own dogs is at my discretion. I never expect all dogs to automatically be friends, though each of our dogs is very friendly. It is ideal for pets' to stay on their own food to prevent upset stomachs, but we can provide meals for an additional $6/day. Please let us know of any allergies. Pick up & drop off times MUST be scheduled in a 30 minute time block, and that time needs to be respected. Please understand that while we absolutely love having your pets, we are also raising our family from the same home. Any changes to your pick up/drop off need to be made with 24 hour notice, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Ashley's simply the best. You know someone knows dogs well when the dogs are happy and excited to go visit her. I can't say enough about how much thought and care she puts into everything her and her family do to help others out and their fur babies.
Ashley was great. Our girls were happy to see us but not desperate to leave. They were well cared for & exhausted after a weekend playing with Ashley’s dogs. We will definitely use her again when we have an overnight or longer trip planned.
Ashley took amazing care of my two Cavalier King Charles. Her home is warm, inviting, and perfect for dog sitting. My girls settled right into her household and quickly became comfortable. Ashley is knowledge and experience is evident in her attention to detail. I highly recommend her.
Ashley and her family are amazing. Our dogs get excited when they know they're going there. She is thorough, qualified, a moonlighting dog photographer and all around great person. In addition, in some extreme cases with fights or family emergencies she has been flexible and understanding. There isn't a better person or family to leave your dogs with in my opinion.

Schedule
My clinic hours are part-time. I have surgeries to monitor Wednesdays and Thursdays and am often slower to respond during those hours. When I'm in clinic, my patients are my priority. Before and after work hours, I am at home caring for and loving on our dogs!

Safety, trust & environment
We have the option for both kennels or runs. Our runs are 5x5 INDOOR - so a great option for owners with multiple dogs that would rather sleep together! Keep in mind, we only use kennels/runs for overnight sleeping, otherwise, we spend lots of time playing outside, lounging on the couch, going for walks! Our yard is 6 foot privacy fenced, and our personal dogs are very accustomed to new visitors, so if your pet wants a playmate, we've got that covered! We will only ever introduce dogs that match in personality. We know not every dog will be best friends, so we like to spend a little bit of time learning our boarding dogs and then chose our personal dogs to match for playtime! It's also okay if your dog doesn't want to play, we have the ability to rotate and keep separate, while still allowing plenty of time out of a run!

A typical day
We go on neighborhood walks, or to a walking/biking trail just down the road. We lounge on the couch and watch a movie and we play ball in the back yard
