I’ve been an animal lover all my life. Although I was unable to have pets due to my parents’ allergies, I spent my childhood caring for dogs, cats and rabbits of my neighbors and friends. I lived with cats (including a special needs diabetic cat) for several years before deciding to adopt my own cat, Sunny, in 2016.

Schedule
When Sunny and I moved to DC, I decided to start pet sitting professionally. I’ve cared for dogs, cats and rabbits in the DC area since November 2017. I’ve worked with all different sizes, ages and breeds of dogs and cats, including those with special needs (medications, insulin, esophageal tubes, eye drops, oral medications, urinary issues, palliative care, etc.).

I currently work from home 2-3 days a week, but my job is a 15 min walk, so I am able to provide potty breaks and playtime during the day. Pets are allowed to roam freely and enjoy any furniture. I also maintain a pet camera with a two-way microphone, so I can see, hear and speak to pets in the home throughout the day.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks. I love walking by the waterfronts in DC or driving to nearby nature trails. I also love dog parks for the fun play and exercise it brings for the pups (and me!). Cats: I’d love to come play with your cat and provide the love and care for your furry family member while you are away.
