As a pet-widow, (said goodbye to my old lady fur ball after 20 years together), I understand just how much a pet becomes a family member and how difficult it can be to leave them behind when you are away. I have been using Pawshake for the past few years and have a number of repeat customers that I sit for through it. I have recently decided to try out Rover as well as I have heard great things about it. My goal is to make your absence as stress free as possible for both yourself and your pet. To do this I offer a variety of options, including coming and staying at your place, so that your pet can stay in the environment they are most comfortable in. I also offer a pre-visit meet and greet, so that you walk me through their routine to ensure the least amount of stress for them as possible. I do work full-time during week days, so most of my availability would be on weekends, but longer stays can be arranged if needed. House visits are half hour minimum and include feeding, play and a walk. I send photo updates with any service you hire me for to keep your mind at ease. My Space - I live alone in an apartment in a house with no other pets. There is a small backyard outback, and I live right across from the river, which is easily accessible if your doggo likes to swim. Due to my small living quarters, my preference is to come to your place and house sit to look after your fur babies. Ash was an excellent dog and house sitter. Our dog took to her right away. In the past he did not do well when we left him but with Ash he seemed comfortable as soon as he met her. Ash was a stellar pet and house sitter while we were away for 2 weeks. Our senior dog and cat took to her quickly, and we knew Ash adored being with them. While we were away, missing them, it was a great piece of mind that they were well cared for and cuddled in our absence. I would recommend Ash to all pet owners in need of loving care and attention ❤️
I would recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a pet sitter. Very responsible and communicative and not intimidated by dogs with particular needs. Our senior dog requires timed medication, specially prepared food and can be quite grumpy. Ashley took it all in stride and our dog quickly took quite a liking to her (which is quite rare!). We are never worried when we are away, as we know that Ashley is in top of things and will ask questions if needed and gives great updates. Thanks Ashley!

Schedule
I currently work full time during the week days at a high school in the Gatineau area, so my preference is to pet sit on weekends so I can give your furry friends all of my attention. I do accept longer stays as long as pets can be left alone for my 8 hour work day.
