Active WFH Pet Lover w/ Fenced Yard
Hi! I’d love to host new pups who are dog and kid-friendly! We have a super friendly corgi, a highly social golden retriever puppy, and kids who have grown up caring for dogs. I work from home and am always outside, so our cozy, dog-friendly home with its beautiful fenced yard and 6-ft privacy fence is the perfect second home for your baby when they can’t be with you! Plan for fun! We’re always up for a long walk around College Park or playing fetch in the fenced backyard— so most pet parents report that their babies are happily exhausted after a stay here! Basically, we snuggle and play equally as hard! I send all the video and photo updates— usually detailed updates in batches of 3-4x a day— so you know exactly how your baby is adjusting, eating, and socializing. I have been caring for pets of all kinds since I was young– at one time having 4 dogs and 3 cats along with my kids! Our corgi and golden duo love when friends come to play, and I adore my time getting to love on the sweet pups who come to visit. Many dogs we’ve been lucky enough to sit for have become family to us— we get to care for them year after year and even holiday after holiday! ***We request new pet bookings be dog and kid-friendly. I am very sensitive to my and your dog’s body language and overall needs (ie whale eyes, licking their lips, not giving space) and will work with every pup to make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home, but the best thing of all is a great match from the start! In our current setup, we find dogs with heavy separation anxiety or aggression might not be a great fit for us.

Ashley and her family to excellent care of my dog while I was away for 5 days. They had close communication and were very flexible accommodating some travel delays. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be booking her again!
Ashley was amazing with Rowdy! This was his first time with a sitter so we were a bit nervous and not sure what to expect, but she made him feel right at home and they had a blast. They went for a walk, had playtime in her backyard, and he came home happy (and exhausted)! :) She sent photo & video updates throughout the day, which I loved.

Ashley was amazing! This was our first time using Rover and Ashley made the whole experience fantastic. She loved on our fur baby for a week and sent many updates throughout our time away. She took her on walks, played in the yard, and she even got to play with other dogs. Can’t wait to use Ashley again! :)
Ashley was so great, attentive, and our pup loved his stay with her! Definitely will use her again.
Ashley was terrific with my dog and was communicating. My dog has very serious, separation anxiety, but seems to have done just great at her home. Highly recommend her.

Schedule
I work at home for myself and wake up early, so my schedule is super flexible! I’m able to take my time with each visit thanks to this. Expect lots of outdoor time with walks around College Park and enjoying the fenced yard—with plenty of snuggle time inside! I send a TON of photo and video updates!

Safety, trust & environment
I love long walks and getting down to play! Safety is always first priority, followed by the health and happiness of any pets I sit. We have a great fenced in yard and make sure both kids and pets have safe spaces when here together. I’ve been with Rover for years now and love building long-term relationships!

A typical day
I live on a quiet street in the heart of College Park, so pups staying with me can expect lots of beautiful walks and time exploring in my fenced yard. I love being outside when weather is nice, so pups staying typically soak up the sun with me as I try to be as much as possible! Pets are allowed on all furniture, and with 5 bedrooms, I’m able to create safe spaces with beds or crates if ever needed or requested.
