Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special instructions so I can provide care that's as consistent as possible with what they're used to at home. During drop-in visits and walks, I'll ensure your pet has fresh water, meals (if scheduled), potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. I'm experienced administering medications and am comfortable caring for senior pets and those with special needs. I'll also send regular photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Pet safety is something I take very seriously. I previously experienced the heartbreaking loss of one of my own pets after a pet sitter failed to keep them safely leashed. That experience reinforced how important it is to never become complacent. I have also cared for dogs who are skilled escape artists, so I'm especially diligent about using leashes properly, checking gates and fences, and making sure doors are securely closed before entering or leaving a home. I understand that even a brief moment of inattention can have serious consequences, and I treat every pet's safety as if they were my own. I'm respectful of every client's home and will treat it with the same care I would my own. I'll carefully follow your instructions, secure doors and gates, and make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for until you return.

Once again an awesome experience with Ashley.
We have had Ashley before but each time she goes above and beyond. We have a cat that peed on the bed and she took the time to clean it up and preserve the mattress. And wash the bedding, on the day she was not scheduled to visit. She is best there is.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and since I am currently not working I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and even late-night visits. As a military spouse, I understand that plans can change, and I do my best to provide reliable, consistent care whenever possible. Because I have two dogs of my own, I don't offer overnight stays in clients' homes, but I'm happy to provide multiple drop-in visits throughout the day, dog walks, and boarding or day care (if booked). I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine and always make time for plenty of exercise, play, affection, and personalized attention.

- Please let me know about your pet's personality, temperament, behaviors, medications, allergies, medical conditions, fears, triggers, routines, and any special needs. If your dog is friendly with other dogs or children, or if they're an escape artist and likely to bolt through an open door or gate, please let me know in advance. There are never too many details when it comes to your pet! The more I know, the better I can keep them safe, happy, and comfortable while maintaining their normal routine, training, and household rules. I want your pet's experience to be as stress-free and familiar as possible. If you have any special requests, scheduling needs, or questions about services or rates, please don't hesitate to send me a message. I'm flexible whenever possible and will do my best to accommodate your needs and finances as I understand that times are tough especially now as a new military spouse.
