Hello! We are a family of 6 and we live in Sterling Heights!! Our family has years of experience dog sitting for family members and we have been part of Rover for SEVEN years! We do not have a dog of our own, so we really enjoy having pups in our home. We live on almost an acre, and our backyard is completely fenced in. It is a wonderful space for dogs to run and play. I am a stay at home mom and have plenty of time to spend caring for your pup! Our children are homeschooled and spend a lot of their free time playing with the dogs that we have in our care. We have many repeat customers who say that their pups know exactly when they pull into our driveway and get so excited! Pups normally leave our home content and exhausted after their stay! Our schedule is flexible and we are available during the week for boarding and day care, as well as weekends for boarding. We look forward to meeting you and your fur baby soon!

This was our dog's first time staying away from us and Ashley and her family made the entire experience so easy and reassuring. From our initial meet and greet, to drop off and pick up, they were kind, welcoming, and communicative. Ashley's calm and confident approach with our boy and other dogs is one of the things I appreciated the most. Ashley sent photo updates whenever we asked and then some, which meant the world to us. We could tell our boy was well taken care of and when we need a dog sitter again they will be our first option!
This was our first time using Rover for our two golden retrievers while we were out of town for 9 days. Usually they come with us or we have family watch them, but since that wasn’t an option this time we were looking for a family who would treat them as their own. Ashley and the entire family took great care of them and sent regular updates and pictures so we knew they were doing just fine and getting lots of snuggles and attention. We were able to enjoy our vacation and not worry the entire time about how they were doing.

Schedule
I am home full time and am able to meet the needs of your pup all day throughout the day. There are times that I have to run out to pick up one of my kids from an activity or run an errand, but usually someone is still home.

Safety, trust & environment
We love to treat your pet like family and we follow the same schedule or routine as the owners do. We crate when a dog is crate trained and used to it, otherwise we do not. We do have some gated areas in our home for when we need to seperate pups, but we rotate them as needed. Our back yard is completely fenced in and we have padlocks on the gates so nobody can leave a gate open. We keep every dog's belongings in a marked bin during their stay (1 bin for pets of the same household) to keep their belongings organized and together as much as we can. When boarding multiple dogs, we wait until all of the dogs are calm to introduce them. We only introduce pups outside in the yard on neutral territory.
A typical day
We love to go on walks at our local parks. We spend a lot of time in our yard. The kids love playing fetch with dogs and running around with them! The main feedback we recieve from clients is that their pups come home tired! There is no shortage of activity here, but if you have a dog that is more laid back, we provide lots of snuggles!
