I LOVE animals, and while I don’t have the capacity for my own pets right now, I get so much joy from caring for yours. I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family for years, and now I’m excited to extend that care more widely through Rover. I provide a calm, safe home environment with plenty of attention, cuddles, and enrichment. While I don’t have a yard, I make up for it with access to the canal and several nearby parks — perfect for walks and playtime. You can also expect plenty of photo updates so you know your furry family member is happy and well cared for. 🐶🐱📸 I adapt to each pet’s needs: whether your dog is older and prefers a quiet, cozy day with lots of pets, or high-energy and needs over an hour of walking and activity, I provide individualized care and companionship. The only other person your pet may encounter here is my boyfriend, who often stays over. He also loves animals (he grew up with a husky) and enjoys being part of the care and attention your pet receives. I do have a few regular commitments (the gym, swim class, errands, and three days in the office), so pets in my care should be comfortable with a few hours of alone time. Otherwise, they’ll have my full focus and affection. Ashley took incredible care of our very large do recently. I had never used a service like this in the past - always preferring kennel boarding, and was a bit nervous as to how my dog would do. Asley was fantastic, took really good care of our dog and ensured that he was comfortable and calm with the arrangement. He felt a bit anxious but her care and consideration helped a great deal. She was fantastic from start to finish, keeping me informed and letting me know his progress. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work full time (8-5ish) but flexibily from home and the office. Early morning or late at night is best for me during the week for drop-in’s and walks and I am available on weekends for boardings and sittings!

I provide pets with attentive, individualized care - giving them exactly what they need, whether that’s active play, quiet companionship, or space to relax. My home is a warm, calm environment where they feel safe and comfortable, with treats and enrichment always on hand. I’m also close to plenty of outdoor spaces, including dog parks, so pets in my care enjoy both exercise and relaxation. My rates reflect the personalized, one-on-one attention each pet receives during their stay.
A typical day
We wake up, I grab my morning coffee to go and we take a morning stroll through the park, maybe even along the canal, and around the Nature museum. We see other pups and say hi to the neighbours, we then have breakfast and cuddle on the couch and have something on the TV. While I go to the gym, your pup rests, and then I am back for another short post-breakfast stroll and repeat until day is done!
