Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I share my home with a calico and a tabby, and I’ve spent years living with a lab. I care for my sister’s tabby mix when she goes out of town. I’ve also cared for friends’ and neighbors’ pets, and even worked as a dog groomer and at a dog kennel, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of breeds and personalities. On top of that, I actively volunteer at the SPCA in Annapolis, which keeps me connected with animals who need extra love and attention. I treat every pet like family, not just a job, and my goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away

I care for your pets just like I do my own with love, patience, and attention to detail. In your home, I’ll follow your routines so your pets feel comfortable and secure, making sure they have fresh food, water, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. If they’re with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family, with a safe and cozy environment where they can relax and enjoy themselves. My goal is always to make your pets feel happy and cared for, and to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

My dog Ivy is a reactive cattle dog who takes a while to warm up with people. Ashley did great with her and let Ivy lead the way. They became friends! She also loved on my cat!! Thank you for all the pictures and check ins.
Ashley took very good care of my elderly cat. She always responded promptly, arrived right on time for a pre-sitting interview and to pick up a key, as well as to messages. She takes the responsibility of caring for a pet very seriously, and is knowledgeable about the needs of cats.

Schedule
Pet care is part of my everyday life. Between caring for my own two cats, helping with my parents’ lab, and volunteering at the SPCA in Annapolis, I’m used to fitting in feedings, walks, playtime, and snuggles throughout my day. Making sure animals feel loved and looked after is something I do daily, not just occasionally

- I like to know as much as possible about your pet ahead of time so I can give them the best care. Things like their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite toys, and any quirks or special comforts are very helpful. I also want to know if they have any medical conditions, allergies, or medications, as well as how they do with other pets and new people. The more I know, the more I can make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for just the way they’re used to.
