Reliable Pre-Vet Pet Caregiver
I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science (Pre-Vet) at Chico State and working toward my Veterinary Assistant certification, which has given me hands-on experience in proper animal handling, behavior, and care. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats extensively, including volunteering at animal and cat shelters. As a pet owner myself (from a Belgian Malinois to a Chihuahua, and currently a cat), I understand how unique each animal’s needs can be. I’m also involved in Guide Dogs for the Blind, where I help train dogs; building strong skills in patience, consistency, and communication. Most importantly, I care not only about your pets but about your peace of mind. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication so you always feel confident your pet is in good hands.

Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure every environment is calm, clean, and pet-friendly, and I take care to remove any potential hazards. I closely follow each pet parent’s instructions, including feeding routines, medications, and any specific care needs. I take time to understand each pet’s personality so I can provide patient, attentive care that helps them feel safe and stress-free. I also carry basic animal first aid supplies and am prepared to respond calmly in case of emergencies. Building trust with pet parents is just as important to me as caring for their pets. I provide updates, communicate clearly, and aim to give helpful feedback when needed. My goal is for you to feel completely confident while you’re away and to return to a happy, well-cared-for pet.

Great sitter
Ashley was friendly, communicative, followed all the instructions I left for her, and (most importantly) fell in love with my cat! Thanks again, Ashley!
Ashley was amazing and so kind. We came home to a dog who wasn't anxious, which we are used to when taking even small trips away from him. Our home was pretty much exactly the way we left it too. We also had a small water leak and Ashley called us right away when she noticed and let us know. It was a relief to leave Indie with Ashley and I would do it again in a second. Thank you Ashley!!

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I care for my own cat with a consistent feeding schedule, fresh water, enrichment, and medication when needed. I also regularly work with livestock, keeping me active in hands-on animal care.
