I live on a farm surrounded by nature with lots of land. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always shared my home with (lots of) rescue dogs, many of whom came from difficult backgrounds and needed extra patience, understanding, and consistent training to help them settle and build confidence. I’ve worked with animals in a variety of roles, including working in a busy dog shelter for over 10 years. I believe that every dog is an individual & I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, building trust, and adapting my approach to suit each dog’s personality and needs. I believe dogs are part of the family and should be treated with patience & empathy. Alongside my practical experience, I studied Animal Behaviour and Welfare, which helped my understanding of canine behaviour & needs. Whether your dog loves long adventures, calm gentle strolls in the mountain, playtime, or simply some calm company, I’ll make sure they’re cared for as if they were my own and enjoy time surrounded by calm and peaceful nature. My dogs are my world.

Ashley's looked after my dogs on multiple occasions and they absolutely adore her - it's hard not to! She has such a kind nature with all animals from what I have seen and never hesitate to reach out to her whenever I am travelling for work. Ashley looked after my beloved Cane Corso, Semper, on many occasions, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Semper was a wonderful dog but needed extra understanding as he struggled with unfamiliar men, and Ashley always took the time to read his body language and make him feel safe. Her knowledge of dog behaviour is exceptional, and I trusted her completely. She also gave me invaluable guidance when I brought my newborn home, helping me introduce the baby to Semper in a calm, positive and safe way. Ashley is incredibly patient, nurturing and compassionate, and her love for animals is so genuine. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets as if they were her own.

Schedule
I am a stay at home mum with my baby that is one in August. We live on a rural farm with lots of land and animals (donkeys, goats, chickens, geese etc), my animals and my daughter are my whole life and day. We spend all our day tending to the animals based around them and their needs. In summer this looks like doing most animal tasks (walking, feeding, enrichment) in the morning and evening and spend the rest of the day making sure they are calm & stay cool. I spent most my day outside in nature, in our vegetable garden or walking in the mountains.

Animals are my world. We live on a 40 hectare farm at the foot of Montseyn, animals have lots fo space to explore here and enjoy the peacefullness of nature here. My (and your) animals needs come before anything else. I enjoy spending most of my day outside in nature and would love for your pet to join me! However we do not have fenced off areas so your dog would be on a long line to prevent them escaping or getting lost. Each animal requires a different type of care & I enjoy getting to know different characters and working out what is best for them. I believe in treating animals as family, always remaining calm and training gently & respectfully based on a relationship built on trust.

A typical day
We live in the mountains with no surrounding neighbours, so we can walk straight out of our house and be surrounded by nature. There are lots of amazing walks depending on the fitness level and needs of your dog. As well as a flowing river (most the year) and lots of fields to run around in as well as play games. I love to use scent work with dogs as I find is a great way to bond and keep their minds busy.
