Hello! My name is Ashley, and I recently moved to the beautiful city of Oakland and am offering my pet sitting services again! Over the years, I’ve had the joy of providing pet sitting in Hawaii, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago. I provide both dog and cat sitting. I’ve had a love for animals since I was young. I first started offering pet sitting services while living in D.C. when I found myself without a furry friend of my own. Since then, I’ve gained experience caring for pets of all ages—from playful puppies and kittens to sweet seniors. I currently work a part-time schedule, which makes me flexible with availability and responsive to your needs. I am available most weekends after 1 PM. Communication is very important to me—I’ll always keep you updated and follow any specific care instructions you provide. As a pet parent myself, I completely understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved companion in someone else’s care. That’s why I do everything I can to make both pets and their owners feel comfortable and at ease. Whether it’s enjoying long walks around Lake Merritt with dogs who love exercise, or curling up with a cat who just wants some company, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind and make sure your pets are happy while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

Safety, trust & environment
When walking dogs, I always make their safety my top priority—using secure leashes, keeping a close eye on surroundings, and making sure they get the right balance of exercise and care. I’m also very respectful of people’s homes, treating them with the same care I would my own. You can trust that your pet and your space will always be safe with me.

I’ve used Ashley twice now to care for my lil boy when I’ve been away from home and she’s phenomenal! Knowing someone cares for my boy and loves him like I would helps my anxiety leaving him for a week. I can’t recommend her enough to check in on your fur baby. I’ll definitely be using her again in the future when I need to leave my boy with someone I can trust. ❤️
Ashley was absolutely amazing!!! She took the best care of my baby boy, Haku, while I was away and went above and beyond to ensure he was loved and cared for. 🥰 She cared and played with him like her own and it definitely eased my mind knowing she was so attentive. Even when my timed feeder malfunctioned she came within the hour (and early) to check on him and helped me troubleshoot the issue. (Thank you again!!) She even left him a little present of toys and some treats in a goody bag as a departing gift! I can’t recommend her enough to watch your little one while you are away. I’ll definitely be asking her again to check on my little love when needed. 🤗❤️
Ashley was fantastic! I had an emergency and booked her last minute. Our pup is very shy and a brand new rescue, we booked for a walk but she was so she to get out of the crate but Ashley was communicative and extremely flexible the entire time. She sent pictures, even of our cat! It was clear she cared so much about her. We’ll definitely be hiring Ashley again for the future for any pet related needs!
I think my dog loves her more than he loves me and I can’t blame him.
She is so kind and I felt so good about leaving my little floof in her capable care. I hope he still wants to come home to me, he looked really happy.
Ashley was super friendly and made my little old man feel right at home. She sent plenty of updates and pictures. Will definitely use again.

Schedule
I am currently working a part-time schedule and can be very flexible with my availability, making it easy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs. I am available most weekends after 1 PM.
