I have had dogs my entire life. Big dogs, small dogs, medium dogs. Usually 2 at a time. Our last dog passed in 2020 at age 11. In November 2022 we adopted a 10 month old blue tick coonhound. Her name is Pickle and she’s the sweetest. She’s super shy and submissive and we haven’t had any issues with her meeting other dogs, but we do want to ensure she is comfortable before booking anything and we require a meet and greet prior to confirming any bookings. When it comes to training, we use positive reinforcement and gentle words. In fact, the last dog I was training we hired a trainer to come in, since it had been a while for me, and the trainer said I was doing a great job and didn't think there needed to be any additional visits, unless I wanted them.

Schedule
I work part time, Tuesday’s and Wednesdays about 4 hours in an office, along with bringing kids to and from school. My work is very flexible and I am able to make changes as necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and plenty of toys! We provide positive reinforcement and lots of cuddles! My children are relatively dog savvy, we have a 3, 5 year old, and a 8 year old. The 3 year old absolutely loves animals and will try to snuggle as much as possible.

A typical day
We love to play with dogs! Fetch, walks and cuddles are some of our favorite things to do. We like to play puzzle games and tugging. There is a rail trail nearby that we love to walk on and our driveway is very long!
