Please read in full. I’m Ashley — an animal protection attorney with a little free time and a huge love of animals. I have 3 pups myself and can’t wait to meet your furry friends! I’m laid back and loving, but also responsible and reliable. I’ve been babysitting and pet sitting for over 15 years and a full-time nanny for some time, so caregiving is my forté! Looking to ease your mind when you have to leave your pets, make some new 4-legged friends, take some breaks from all my work, and make a little cash toward my law school loans! Side note: I’m vegan so you can trust that there’s nothing I’m more dedicated to than the comfort and happiness of animals! I work from home full time but can take flexible breaks to walk dogs. Plenty of bathroom breaks throughout the day as well for daycare and boarding guests. We have a fenced in yard and plenty of room to lounge inside and out. Constant access to water and frequent bathroom breaks. Doggos are welcome on all furniture. For care in my home, must get along with dogs of all sizes.

Unbelievably smooth, easy, and communicative. Booked on short notice after another caretaker fell through, which was bonafide kismet. Ashley is an absolute pro and I’m so grateful we found her. She will be a slam dunk for any of our caretaking needs while we are away. My partner and I felt like our pups were away at summer camp having the time of their lives. Conscientious and flexible, don’t let the google doc questionnaire scare you away, this is what top-tier, stress-free, in-home pet sitting on Rover looks like.

Schedule
I work from home and do walks & drop ins before and after work and on my lunch break - or doggy daycare all day with minimal time away from the house. I’m available for some lunch break walks. Visits before 9am or after 5pm are much more freely available for me.

Safety, trust & environment
I can separate pups for feeding time. Also happy to have you leave your dog’s crate if needed or preferred, but time spent crated will op be minimal and only if your dog is happy in their crate! We have a fence (but no known fence jumpers please). Outdoor time will be supervised. If not in the fence, I keep dogs leashed at all times.

A typical day
A plethora of toys, lots of cuddles and love! Walks and long games of fetch are a favorite. If your dog is more laid back they’ll love our huge couch, king size bed, and lots of dog beds.
