I work from home so am available to provide your pet the care they deserve. On the occasion I have a meeting out of the house, I am able to schedule it around the needs of your pet as I have complete flexibility over scheduling. My husband is a teacher so is also free to help by early afternoon.

We do not have a fenced yard, but there are sidewalks, greenways, and dog parks all around us. We take our own dog on multiple walks per day, so are often outside. We have an open floor plan with lots of room for playing fetch. Because we have raised 2 dogs from puppies, we have a crate available if needed as well.

I am comfortable giving medications to your pet if needed. I am a “people” nurse and while not the same, I have a good foundation of understanding special needs. We would also appreciate knowing of any history of aggression. We are committed to the safety of your pet, but also our own.

We will go on multiple walks per day. Our neighborhood has sidewalks that are safe and away from busy streets. Your pet will have a playmate with our dog, Max, who loves to play chase and tug of war. If fetch is your pup’s favorite pastime, we have lots of experience throwing the ball on repeat! There will also be no lack of belly rubs and cuddles when it’s time for a rest.

Hi! My husband and I live in Apex. We have 4 kids, ages 10 and 13 (two sets of twins so only 2 ages!), and one cavapoo. I am a nurse and now work as a case manager from home. Pets have always been a huge part of my life and I’ve passed my love for animals onto my children! We lost our 4 year old goldendoodle to lymphoma and that left a huge void for our family. While we are not quite ready to permanently welcome a new family member, we have a lot of love to give your pet when you are away. You can leave your pet knowing they will be treated just like our own with lots of rubs, cuddles, and walks! Our dog, Max, loves a playmate. Our children are great with animals as well. We have raised our pets from puppies, taken care of family members’ pets when they are traveling, and checked in on neighbors dogs when they are away. There is always someone ready and willing to play with or walk your pup.

Ashley was wonderful from start to finish — from our first chat to the meet & greet and throughout Millie’s stay. She’s incredibly responsive, accommodating, and just so easy to work with. The whole experience felt seamless and completely stress-free. During Millie’s stay, Ashley sent regular updates, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that Millie was happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. I trust Ashley with Millie so much that I’ve already booked another stay with her! Ashley and the entire family took such great care of our fur baby. We had absolutely no worries. We received pictures and updates every day. I looked forward to receiving the latest update on our little princess at least two times a day. We are so glad we found such a loving family that truly cares for your pet as if they are theirs.
