I always ensure the house is locked, the animal is nearby, and has a blanket so they are comfortable. I also attend to any medications animals need. I do require emergency phone numbers such as owner's names/numbers, address/name/ number of trusted neighbor(if applicable,) and emergency veterinarian contacts. If your animal gets scared when it storms, please let me know this information. I can play soothing, meditation music on my phone or we can play with a toy to distract your fur baby. I like to be prepared to stay proactive!

I like to make sure I have a list of any food allergies, any medications that need to be taken, and if I need to take extra precaution when your animal is near another animal on walks. If your animal tends to hide in "specific spots," I would prefer to know those spots too. As I said earlier, it's important for me to stay proactive and know of any extra details about your animal, so I can create a comfortable stay with your fur baby(ies)!
A typical day
First, did anyone ask for pictures??! I usually have pet owners ask me to send pictures throughout my stay with their babies. That is something I LOVE to do! I try to capture funny and cute moments! Second, I stick to your routined schedule, so your animal will feel comfortable! I love taking animals for walks to go out and get some fresh air. However, due to the heat advisory lately, I will ensure your fur baby walks and then goes inside for water and to cool off. If you have a fenced in house, I love to take your animal out and play a nice game of fetch. If your animal likes to enjoy the sun, I sit with them and just spend quality time. While we are inside, I attend to all animal's needs. I truly love to snuggle up and watch a good movie. If your animal has toys inside, I like to make sure they have them readily available. To conclude, I really have a strong love for animals and they sense it. I pay attention to any "cues." If your animal needs to warm up to me, then I start slowly. I never force animals out of their comfort zone and safety is, always, my number one goal!

Ashley is an ABSOLUTE ANGEL. We were in New England for a 10 day trip, & Hurricane Milton hit, so we could not get home. She bravely stayed in our house with Rocco, protecting him & keeping him & herself safe. She stayed for an additional 3 days after the storm, without any power, & took care of Rocco & our house. She is a GEM. She cared for our fur-baby as if he were her own. You could not be in better hands if Ashley is taking care of your fur-baby.
Our pups love Ashley, and she loves them too! Makes it easier to leave them behind!
Ashley was amazing! She took such good care of our Frenchie and Beagle that we had no worries while away. She is very communicative and sent photos daily. We will definitely be having her come again!
