I’m Ashley, your local pet professional I've been pet sitting and working in structured animal care environments for the past decade, including boarding, daycare, and shelter-based facilities My hands-on experience spans companion dogs, sport dogs, and behavior cases ranging from basic manners to complex reactivity I am committed to continuing education and ethical, science-informed animal care I am a member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) and hold my BCL. I have submitted my referrals and experience for my SBA and am saving up to take my certification exam! My next goal is to fulfill hours for ADT. I am a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and hold my PCKA I am insured through Pet Sitters International (PSI) For pet sitting, I hold my CPPS and pet first aid and CPR certifications Through PSI, I have also taken courses on Sanitation protocols, disaster preparedness, cat care fundamentals, and dog care fundamentals Education never stops in this field, and I actively pursue advanced coursework in behavior, reactivity, engagement-based training, and sport foundations. When I'm not working with client dogs, I'm fostering dogs through rescue

Ashley was awesome! She did a meet and greet and took plenty of notes. She was very communicative during our trip and sent photos and went above and beyond for our pets! We will definitely rebook her!
I was referred to Ashley by a coworker and have been very happy with her work! I have an anxious dog in training and was very worried about leaving her alone for the first time but Ashley made sure to calm my nerves with lots of updates and photos from her stay. She went above and beyond with making sure my dog was active while I was away and keeping up with her training. We're always excited to have her come by :)
Ashley always takes great care of my little ball of energy Leo! He's a bit crazy but she always handles him well and it makes me feel great to know I can have someone to trust to watch my pup when I need a sitter or an extra hand for walks

Schedule
I currently work full time as I added new hours into my schedule, as well as taking care of my own pets. I have limited availability for new clients but do have a flexible schedule when I take them on!

I live in a large house with an unfenced backyard and multiple safe areas set up for pet care. I have two cats and one dog in the home

A typical day
My main focus when working with pets is fulfillment, so usually whatever they enjoy! I like to incorporate things that work our pets minds like "find the treat" or hide and seek. I'll make sure they get to sniff all around the neighborhood and get their running in. A lot of dogs would say I'm great at playing ball my favorite toy to play with is tug
