Lots of space for play and romping!
We love bonding with your fur baby and giving them a home away from home! My hubs and I get to give your dog all the attention and play in wide open areas in the Gorge- we have loved every dog who has boarded with us or that we have house/dog sat for. No stranger to taking care of dogs - I'm the go to person to care for animals and plants while neighbors, family and friends are away. Dogs have been an integral part of my family since i was little. Daniel and I had a pitbull for 9 years up until 2020 when she went over the rainbow- that is when we started dog sitting on Rover and we have LOVED all the dogs we have had the honor of caring for! We have experience with dogs who have severe skin allergies, food allergies, and who are senior and may be having trouble. Dog Boarding- We know what it's like to leave a beloved fur baby with others while out of town and to be worried the whole time- especially if the dog has higher needs than others! No need to worry when your pup is at our place- they will have plenty of attention, lots of pictures and updates will be sent, and all normal procedures you do at home- we will do as well. We take long walks in the morning and long walks in the evening and LOTS of play and cuddles. Daniel and I do work 8 hours a day, but come back for one 15 minute potty break in the middle of the day. House Sitting- I house sit/dog sit anywhere from North Bonneville to White Salmon!! Long morning walks and evening romps round out the day plus LOTS of playtime and cuddles. We are both gone 8 hours a day, but are able to do a lunch break for a 15 minute potty break in the middle of the day. We look forward to caring for your pup and giving them a home away from home! Ashley was fantastic watching Steve. She was always quick to respond, sent the cutest updates, and made it really easy to relax knowing he was in good hands. I have complete trust in her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.
Ashley was amazing and my pets definitely gave their stamp of approval. I so appreciated all of the updates, photos, and videos! I'm pretty sure my dog thought he was having the best adventures with her and was sad to see her go!
Ashley and Donnie were fantastic! I received photo updates constantly of my dog, Steve’s smiling face—usually with a stick in it—as it seemed he was constantly being played with. It was obvious from every update how much attention and care he was getting. Steve came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. It gave me total peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book with Ashley and Donnie again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, attentive care for their pup.
Ashley and Dani were great. They clearly love dogs. They have watched our very active border collie a couple of times and we will surely ask them again. They are communicative, conscientious, and friendly. Ashley kept us informed and sent great pics. They live in a great setting for dogs. Highly recommended.

Schedule
Boarding at our place- pups must be ok for 8 hours as both Daniel and I work full time most weekdays. They receive long morning walks in the morning, a 15 minute potty break around 12-1pm, a long evening walk and LOTS of cuddles and playtime. Cold weather doesn't keep us indoors!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large open area (unfenced) away from other homes, perfect to take your dog exploring. If boarding, we have no pets, so if your dog prefers being a single pet- this is the perfect place. We can crate if necessary, but we usually set doggie guests up with a super comfy bed on the couch. We have a beautiful log home that we built ourselves and doggies get choice couches and sunny spots to lay in!
A typical day
Your dog and I will explore trails within walking distance of our home in the morning, can meet other very friendly dogs in the area if you want them to socialize, and then head home to relax and snooze. I have several acres they can run around in if they can be off leash, and lots of trails and waterways to explore on leash! They get a 15 minute potty break in the middle of the day and in the evening, long romps to channel their energy!
