Pet care experience
Dog foster working from home
I have owned dogs all my life, and turned to fostering and dogsitting after college for shorter commitments. I have fostered over 15 dogs, including seniors, puppies, 70+ lb reactive dogs, and those needing medications. I have also catsit for friends and neighbors and cared for fish the last three years.

Ratings and reviews
Ashley was super friendly and upon meeting her our Chippy went right to her and was ready to go inside for a visit. She kept in touch through text and inquired if he was allowed on furniture because she didn't want him to start bad habits if I didn't allow him. We returned and she said he did great and actually napped. We highly recommend her services, and will hire her again on our next trip to the area.
I cannot recommend Ashley enough to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets! She is one of the most responsible, kind-hearted, and genuinely awesome human beings I know. Ashley has been working with dog rescues for over five years. She has a natural way with animals and treats them with the same care, attention, and patience she would give her own family. Whether a pet needs a high-energy walk or just some sweet, quiet companionship, she instinctively knows how to make them feel safe and comfortable. On top of that, she is reliable, and a great communicator. If you want peace of mind knowing your fur baby is getting safe, loving care, Ashley is the best person for the job!
For the last two years, Ashley has been our go-to dog sitter and we couldn’t be happier with her! Each time we’ve asked her to help, she jumps at the opportunity to be with our pup. Who just at 2 years old, recently has had two knee surgeries. Ashley has been attentive, cautious and understanding of her needs- which can be a lot for a staffordshire pit bull terrier. I’ve seen Ashley with dogs of all sizes and she treats each one with the care and technique it requires. Ashley is smart, intuitive and patient, some of the most important traits to carry in the presence of dogs.

Schedule
I work from home so I'm able to be attentive to your pets, and I like to take 15 minute breaks to walk a few times a day.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a puppy-proofed mudroom where we will hang out, and I live across the street from a bike path where I love to walk with a regular leash or long line.
