Drop-in visits start with letting any animals at home familiarize themselves with me as they kindly let me into their abode. We'll check on their food and water bowls, perhaps reward them with a treat if available. I sit with the pets to talk, play with toys, and give the occasional belly rub. I'll snap a cute photo if I can to send to Mom/Dad and do a double-take to ensure no lights are left on before I head out.

A typical day
Cats often enjoy routine, so I try to stick with what is standard to each client's lifestyle. Some cats love playtime and affection. Others prefer proximity with distance, and occasional snacks. We'll go over the routine together before the booking to ensure your pets feel they're on a vacation as well. The best home to come back to is one filled with happy cats!

My two sons (part mainecoon!) are my entire world. I bring that same love and energy to my clients, as I truly do have a genuine love for cats of all kinds. They're terrific judges of character, I feel. They're consent-oriented animals, and I do my best to work with cats so they feel I am a respectful *guest* in their home. For my human parents, you can rest assured that your pets will be cared for intentionally, and you can look forward to lots of pictures!

Ashley continues to be absolutely wonderful! Since my last review, our household has grown to five cats, including a fearful, picky rescue who does amazingly well with her and a very large, extremely food-motivated Maine Coon kitten. This trip was also more demanding, with twice-daily hour-long visits and medications for two of the cats. Ashley handles all their different personalities, foods, medications, and routines beautifully, while still spending real time giving them attention and affection. Her detailed updates after every visit give us tremendous peace of mind. Most importantly, our cats genuinely like and trust her—including our normally fearful rescue. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Ashley and highly recommend her!
As always Ashley is amazing. Even was able to accommodate a few extra visits when I realized we were coming back later than I had booked for.
Once again communication was great and the cats were well cared for!
